I have footage of them saying that.
Can you explain why heās the only one who get it then, besides other Blood Elves? Why it didnāt have changed the High Elves?
Thereās no reason for them to touch High Elves since theyāre irrelevant and arenāt planned as an Allied Race.
Considering you guys lose your marbles over two generic nobody shieldmages in a Warfront, they wouldnāt dare change High Elves purely in fear of sending a message that theyāre being worked on or bothered with at all, which until this point, they havenāt been.
You are so sure on this with nothing to back you up.
We donāt expect them to happen in bfa.
We know they will happen at some point though because logic dictates that it will happen.
Maybe, just maybe it was locked because some of itās supporters canāt behave themselves?
Without going into too much detail, I had to make a ticket regarding someone stepping out of line and I was encouraged by a moderator to report said behavior instead of engaging, which going forward will be how I handle this from now on.
Now this was a separate incident some time before the thread being locked in the past day. But given that many posts were deleted and the thread locked, this is clear evidence of foul play.
I also caution many people from that thread to watch their mouths and refrain from coming to our thread and crap-posting, telling us how awful we are because you guys canāt behave yourselves.
Now this isnāt me trying to be nasty or pick a fight, I am just being honest and like others have, asking you guys to show a little more maturity in both threads.
Still defending that stick in the mud, are we Lydon?
And this is the sole reason that I support that thread remaining open, though I wonāt exactly lose sleep whenever it gets locked either.
Well with Allied Races just being said again it has to be relevant to the situation basically, I think it pretty much says for this expansion, The new ginyu people Arkona or however itās spelt are for Alliances and Vulpera for Hordeā¦ so perhaps next expansion we will see the Rise of the Silver Covenant and Wildhammer Clan!
I honestly think both of them have really untapped potential for a great story arch! Veressa stepping up, and Falstaad stops being in the shadows!
Didnāt you just literally describe Humans and Kulātirans, literally the same, ones fat ones not and some political viewsā¦ could of just easily been a customisation option for humansā¦
If that can happen, pretty sure High Elves being itās own Allied Race has a fighting chance!, while I do see your pointā¦ but blizzard doesnāt work that wayā¦ haha
Go look yourself.
Itās subtle but itās there.
Blood Elves have red undertoned skin do to Fel Corruption and High Elves have blue undertone skin.
Some High Elves have naturally Blue hair. Red hair is a rare color.
Never going to happen. All High Elf groups are firmly Alliance and at War with the Blood Elves.
Not to mention Blood Elves and High Elves are so culturally separated they would never get along,
The Sunwell is part Light now and no longer pure Arcane. So no blue eyes for Blood Elves.
Facts are High Elves and Blue Eyes are an Alliance thing.
Like in all honesty the way Blizzard has been working lately literally anything is possibleā¦ they pulling races out of hats, āVoid Elvesā, literally ignoring all feed back, putting mounts galore on the cash shopā¦
Iām just saying if Blizzard thinks theirs a large enough market for High Elves, to bring people back to the game, faction change or race changeā¦ theyāll prob do itā¦ literally all decisions lately have been for financial benefit, rarely has any decision been for the customerā¦
And this is coming from a company that use to be about āGamers firstā.
Editā¦not just High Elves, theyāll prob through in any race to make a quick buck, I honestly do not like the direction they going, but I personally donāt see Blood Elves getting a 3rd eye customisation, when so many races have rarely gotten anything newā¦
WoW still have one of the worst character customisation on the market, hell indie phone companies make mmos with more detail and customisation with wow, and defiently do not have the fundings blizzard haveā¦
They are literally the largest requested Allied Race. More than any other.
The next largest request is Vulpra and they are significantly smaller.
And contrary to popular belief they never said no to High Elves. And they are still asking for Allied Race input/request.
They have many mega threads on EU, NA, mmo champ and Redditā¦ they are far one of the most requested race, coming back from Vanilla aswell.
All I can say is I really understand your stance and response, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if theirs something thatās true no matter what isā¦money talksā¦ and thatās all they been caring about.
I honestly doubt High Elves are ever happening aside from the issues I pointed out, storywise High Elves have been slowly disappearing from the Alliance story ever since the Void Elves came to be.
Theirs really a pattern every 2nd expansion they get a lot of camera workā¦ WotLK all High Elves, Cata they quiet, MoP High Elves Galore, WoD quiet, Legion High Elves, BFA quietā¦
Legit every 2nd expansion has stories for High Elvesā¦ go check it out yourself.
As much as this So called āDying Raceā they had more screen time and story progression then Worgens, goblins, gnomes and Dwarves haha
Like I hate to be āthat guyā but itās true, have a look at the expansions, literally theirs more talk and progression on High Elves, problem is most see it in a biased way and be like no more elves, if you clearly look from both ends of the spectrum, I do see where your coming from and understand many peopleās arguments against High Elvesā¦ but proof is in the puddingā¦
Sorry but Iām just shocked no else sees this pattern lolā¦
Those times were before the Alliance got void elves however, considering the story of the two (VE having the faction specific story with them trying to prove their loyalty to the Alliance etc.) I doubt they would allow them to share the spotlight with a race that is already made playable. Void Elves are practically taking the Roles the HE had militarily Rangers, Mages etc.
Hence why if they plan to implement them they need add different things to make them unique but still resemble the High Elves people are used to interact and know.
If the eye color is the only in-game diference currently , itās mostly because they didnāt bother to do much work into a NPC race. But eye color isnāt the only one: High Elf NPCs have slight different skin colors, weirdly different lip color and hair colors that are unique to them (check Vareesa model). Alleria which doesnāt use a normal High Elf model is clearly different from a Blood Elf, unless you are in denial, and could serve as a inspiration for the playable High Elf models.
If you think this isnāt enough for them to be a allied race, consider that adding antlers to Tauren and making Draenei glow was enough to Blizzard to make 2 Allied Races. Allied Races, unlike Core Races, doesnāt have restrictions on using the same model than another race (silhouette and animations).
Good old ignore of lore to fit personal desires. If you want to play a tall majestic blue-eyed thalassian elf, the Alliance is waiting for you, one day you can chose if you want it with Void bonus or not.
Remember the patternā¦ BFA is the quiet oneā¦ wait till next expansion, even though quiet, they have a High Elf in Island Expedition and is uniquely voicedā¦
But Iām sure their will be story following the pattern they done the last 10 years lol, this is the quiet expansion.
