The Undermine is good because flying is restricted

Zone quality is fine. Trivial doesn’t mean bad.

You wanna walk, classic is that way —>

Bye.

This is actually true. I genuinely hope they limit flying in 11.2 zone as well.

You wanna walk, classic is that way

I’ve already played classic.

Tell me where I can go if I want new leveling content?

Oh…I have to go download turtleWoW if I want that…

Flying everywhere makes me feel like a bot

It’s kinda like if you played minecraft with noclip

I am extremely pro-flying but dungeons have never really been my favored form of play.

Questing, working on professions, and battle pet collecting have been my major focuses for 80-90% of my time in WoW.

I got a little bored in Wrath and did some battlegrounds PvP and dungeons for a bit. And this season, I am hitting the delves pretty hard. Outside of that, I have pretty much lived in the questing zones throughout my time in WoW.

Walk in retail.

Then…don’t fly…

Clown take

The only clowns are the ones that say they dislike flying and refuse to not fly.

Flying is one of the most game destroying feature WoW has ever gotten.

As much as I loved it when it came out, I realized it’s not good for the game today.
It’s like junkfood, tastes good until ou can’t tie your shoes. Flying felt fun until the world died.

How is me walking around going to change how the zones are designed?

The zones are bad because they are designed around flying. Me not flying doesn’t fix the zones.

Then quit. Flying is here to stay. Bye.

Flying is here to stay.

Obviously not.
Proof: the new zone.

Have fun in your one single zone without flying. We’ll be flying in .2 and the next expansion.

Undermine is good because its a cool zone…unlike ZM…if you like goblin themes its a great zone…flight has nothing to do with it.

Having not read the thread, exploration has never been more enjoyable for me than when I had access to flying to do it.

What can I say? Classic taught me to despise scaling mountains, and WoD further taught me to despise jumping puzzles.

I don’t think the lack of flying changes anything either way for me. It’s a tad annoying to not get to vertical places easier, but that could have been solved if they didn’t kneecap Grapple Hook in the zone.

They don’t let me grapple anything 2 inches above my head in this zone. It’s worse than Korthia with how restricted that movement is, and kinda ruins my exploration of the zone as I can’t even hop between spots separated by slightly lowered streets. If I can’t fly, at least let me do that. You can access those spots with various items, and even drive up there, but my ability just doesn’t function anywhere with a z-axis.

I think the zone is alright, even if the car and kneecapped movement abilities are not for me. I’d be enjoying it a lot more if I was allowed to access stuff like we used to. They removed a lot of fun exploration from zones in general in Shadowlands from Warrior/Outlaw’s leaps, and it’s just made exploring new zones without flying feel pretty lackluster.

I did the campaign and then barely come back to this zone at all once the season started. Maybe I’ll finish one of the sub-reps before the expansion is over.
