Lol my character is so poor.
Well you should not be something you don’t like.
Blech. I dislike Nathanos so much.
Ugh that plot armor, and the Horde accuses the Alliance of having plot armor.

My dear, you need to find a market and utterly dominate it. Find something that enough people on your server want/need, but that isn’t being heavily supplied - or is being heavily supplied at dirt cheap prices. Buy it all. Sell it for a respectable value that people can justify spending on, but not so low that you just get sniped by someone else.
For me, this market is Thorium. Used to level multiple professions, a component of Arcanite, and as such a material for Sulfuras itself and many, many unique Arcanite transmogs, before you even mention strict Thorium gear for both mail and plate. Whether or not those transmogs sell often is irrelevant, their crafters want the mats and someone is playing the transmog game. Supply them.
You lost me there lol.
Also, I’m an herb/inscription.
Those probably don’t sell too well D:
Deff like this idea, having Thalassian elves go neutral and given a choice would be great, i don’t think Blizz would ever do this tho, i personally hold out hope the Alliance will get a Half Elf allied race, and the High Elf story will be done thru them with Vereesa and Alleria’s son Arator as leaders.
If the next alliance race is high elf consider me gone forever blizzard
The usual “MOAR SPAM FOR THE SPAM GOD!” from the high elf people.
We got enough elves in this game. Though mechanically it would work with your proposal of elf players choosing their faction like pandas, it doesn’t work lorewise. It is too late in the game for a large splintering of elves that are identical to blood elves to just choose the alliance.
The real reason for blood elves has and always will be is that the Alliance treated the blood elves very poorly in WC3. The Void Elves are just traitors from the blood elves that choose their preferred source of power over their jaded history with the Alliance.
A large amount of high elves don’t make sense in lore. Void elves in lore are quite small in number.
The high elves officially left the alliance. They’re not going to re-join them.
You guys don’t understand. This is not about models. Never was.
High Elves have been at the core of the Alliance since forever. Void Elves are just Blood Elves who came back to us out of convenience.
I’m sure people wouldn’t be upset if Void Elves were actual members of the Silver Covenant instead of “redeemed Blood Elves”
The true solution was already partially carried out when the Scourge got to the Sunwell.
They haven’t been the core of anything for the entirety this games been alive. You guys make them out to be this bigger role than they are. Pre-Arthas destroying the well any history you could claim is also tied with the Blood Elves since they are indeed, the same people. Anything and everything you claim could also be tied to Blood Elves, that includes any amount of Elves that were left in any amount of places. Since the Well they have been sprinkled in here or there to give the bigger Stew(story) that is WoW a little more flavor. Replace them with any other races that can perform those classes/roles and it’d all come out the same.
Notice how they made Void Elves look as much unlike Blood Elves(who already look nearly exactly like High Elves) as possible.
This was on purpose.
So you won’t ever see a neutral “real High Elf” race, the way Pandas were put in the game. Even Blizzard thinks that was dumb, but they knew with Pandas people would freak if they were not on their faction side.
If you really think this is true, then you don’t understand the sentiment at all.
No, i understand perfectly, however i’m an adult and realize things i may have similar ideas and feelings about are not always best to have happen. Because i can weigh and appreciate consequences.
You see, I had never advocated for or against the inclusion of High Elves up to now. This is my first time doing so.
What led me to side with the “pro Helves” people was precisely that kind of behavior you’re displaying right now. It boggles my mind how strongly against the idea some people are, up to the point of insulting whoever disagrees with them.
So you see that people feel intense feelings of backlash against the idea and it never occured to you that getting what you want effects others? Regardless if you view how it effects them as logical you are still ignoring them and frankly it’s quite rude and deserving of a little attitude.
Thats the problem with the Pro Helf side. That the rally for it despite knowing that people have feelings against it, even so that the Devs gave you a compromise in Void Elves and have yet to listen to demands for it for 14 years. So oblivious.
That compromise you talk about was more of an insult than anything else.
I’m sorry that you see it that way. It should stand as a testament to how against the idea they are that they developed an Allied race that would soothe people. It’s the most played AR so many people don’t feel the same way.
I’m sure there are players on both sides who agree. What’s the point in distinguishing the factions if we’re just going to share race models. They already said they weren’t interested in making more neutral races…
Actually, I remember a discussion on the old forums, perhaps the story forums, with some of the most vehemently opposed individuals to the idea of High Elves as an Alliance Allied Race, in which the question was asked, ‘How would you feel if High Elves were added? Would you quit? Would you make posts demanding their removal?’
Pretty much 99% of the responses were along the lines, “I’d think it was dumb, but oh well, what can you do? Doesn’t really affect my gameplay.” There was also a few that said, “Well, I’d be happy for the people who’ve wanted them since vanilla, but pretty disappointed in Blizzard for caving to the crybabies.” I don’t recall a single comment along the lines of, “I’ll quit the game and never return, it’d be completely ruined by this one addition, and my experience would never be the same for it. I will tell all my friends and family to never buy Activision-Blizzard games because of this.”
