I don’t understand the problem? This game has always had group-focused content, and that was especially prominent on the first release of Mythic dungeons back in WoD. You couldn’t queue for those either, you had to set up groups manually for them.
The vault has to harvest souls to work. Souls I cannot kill on my own.
I’m more of a PVE person. But PVP sounds enticing, solely due to that gearing route being the most rewarding.

Personally, I think these types of posts need to be moved to a different category. Something like, “Ignorant complaints that make no sense” or “Emotional and Factless fanatics”.

Outright lie. You could never queue for this content so no it wasn’t taken away, period.
So did the vendor you praised so much! You had to complete heroics to get the badges. Now it’s improved over 3 expansions now to include other means of content, be it LFR or PVP, and you want what?
All of this is doable by you with your own initiative. It’s on you to get better, not on the community as a whole. Make groups if you want the rewards, it’s that simple. You don’t get a participation trophy for calling others elitist for not inviting you.

Heroics were/are queueable. Mythics are not.
On this matter, absolutely. MMO = best rewards for doing group content.

First, sorry I couldn’t reply to this thread for a while, OP. Second, you’re making reasonable points, and most of what you’re getting seems to be toxicity, not good-faith arguments. I would say you should just put these people on ignore.

If you put in the effort such as keeping your face buried in those books, get a university degree (the higher the better), and hunt, you can easily make six figures.
The issue is most people don’t want to put in any effort, instead are only interested in ‘get rich quick’ methods or schemes.
My sister is living proof of putting effort into education to land a six figure job. She got her doctorate and is an associate professor at a top university.
Take for a moment what op is saying as a relative similarity and you’ll see what he is referring to.

Lets see, I got 2800 pugging in 8.3 which is a couple 20s timed. Currently I joined a guild for shadowlands and am now 1327. So I’d say the advice works you just need to not be lazy.

But no one is governing the pacing.
They wanted to be first. They felt that expendature was necessary. Are you wanting to be first to see the content? You will have to try to compete.
However if you just want to see the content at your own pace, there are plenty of guilds out there (or you can start your own) where that outlay isn’t required at all.
It’s like taking a vacation. Wanna fly and get there quick or drive going your own pace. But in the wow sense, there is lfr for those that want to see the content but without the guild or willingness/ability to pug.
