Does it really matter though? Multiboxers are what? The top 1% among the 1% of WoW whales? This doesn’t affect overwhelming majority of folks that play the game.

Yes Blizzard set the monitory value at $20.
You see though when a person pays with gold in the case of boxxers, gold made from mass farming on accounts they also paid with gold it cost them nothing minus the time to get that gold.
Nothing =/= $20
do you think the gametime token that the person bought on the AH just materializes out of thin air?
another player bought the token for $20 and put it on the AH for the botter to buy.

yes. the person botting and using gold to buy gametime isn’t spending any money. but someone is, and they’re paying MORE for that portion of gametime than blizz would make with a traditional monthly sub.
Are you so naive that you think blizz is letting people play for free? They’re absolutely not losing profits by allowing people to buy gametime with gold. they’re making MORE.

I have shadowboxed my two accounts (manual multiboxing where one account at a time is pretty much useless) since I came back to the game just before the launch of Mists. Don’t affect me none 
I do think it’s regrettable that they needed to eliminate an entire play style that actually does take a lot of skill even with mirroring software or hardware when done legitimately, but yet again, botters and exploiters are why we can’t have nice things.
I don’t think that the company-owned bot farms are going to be terribly scuffed about it either, honestly. They already didn’t care if they got caught and banned for breaking the rules, they’ll just dip into their reservoir of stolen accounts and deploy new ones that will get banned, it’s part of their overhead. Really, the only people that will be affected are the people who weren’t out to scam anyone.

Because I don’t like them? There is literally a group of people here that flag tons of comments and topics simply because they voice their disdain for multiboxing. I had so many posts flagged and restored simply for saying what the majority of players were thinking. If you want to abuse the report function, you deserve a ban. Now, we don’t have to worry about that as the topic is finally being settled.

Not much tbh, that’s why they clarify that multiboxxing is not against the EULA. They don’t want to stop multiboxxers, they want to stop botters. Which so many people on GD confuse.

Now, any mechanism, software or hardware, that mirrors commands to “multiple accounts at the same time” will be against the EULA.
how about if I add 1ms delay after each keystroke per account? it would not be at the same time as quoted above.
