Definitely would love dual spec.

I don’t mind the game being changed, as long as it doesn’t feel like it changed.

My objection to dual spec is that it would make the game feel very different. It would have a profound impact on raiding metas, and could become an expectation or condition for raiding.

The last time WillE opened his mouth about botting blizzard added restrictions to the number of instances for everyone instead of banning them.

He’s done no favors for the classic wow community.

Like… how? The only way I see it people getting a different gaming is by people getting lesser folks trying to earn gold just to heal/tank for them because others can respec now.

The raiding meta thing was already toxic and gating enough as it was back in Classic, by preventing certain specs to never get invited to the raids such as Ret pally, Arcane mage, Survival Hunters. So that would not make any sense to the gating meta more.

He told you how!! In the part you didn’t quote… Suprise suprise.

Someone tells you how something will impact them/the game, for them. And you completely ignore it.

And you claim I’m the troll!!

P.S. I don’t have a panda class. That’s just someone else that disagrees with you.
/gasp

People are far more vocal about things that they want than things that they already have. The community requesting changes particularly ones from failed retail game design are always the loudest and most likely to vote on these polls.

Not sure how dual spec is failed retail game design vs current Torghast retail game design. But you do you.

Yea it would make the game much more enjoyable. Its so hard to find tanks and healers and with dual spec it would make this game so much more enjoyable. I spend 80% of my time on wow standing on org bank looking for a tank or healer

Well this will give most people what they want:

Most people prefer WoTLK to TBC, putting conveniences like Dual spec into TBC will make TBCs rp elements less frustrating, will allow for optimised specs to blow through the content faster, less reason to run alts and ultimately lead to people getting bored with TBC faster and petitioning for an early release of WoTLK!

Essentially we can skip over the unnecessary hurdle of TBC as fast as possible and get to what we all want - WoTLK! All of us except those few pesky TBC fans out there …

Correct, which gives the groups who tends to be constant whiners the false idea that they are the majority.

Dual spec only replaces 50g. The real issue is cost of consumables and repair. As a Warrior I have to spend about 120g a week on consumables and repairs in order to be allowed to raid Tank! It’s not fair and stops me enjoying the game. Consumables should be removed from the game and the buffs awarded by default for a one time fee. Also they should scrap repair costs.

It’s just QoL changes, doesn’t change the actual game play!!! Warriors like me NEED these small QoL changes!!!

Everyone opposed is pushing a #nochanges agenda against what we all want and need! They make generalisations about “balance” and “gold sinks”.

#somechanges - Blizzard promised they’d change the game if we demanded stuff loudly enough!!! /sarcasm

If you allow dual-spec, people can respec from boss to boss. And even if you limited a respec only to a capital city, people would just hearth and get resummoned. And at some point(I think phase 4) they’ll allow you to summon directly into instances.

Dual-spec would basically become a requirement for certain classes/specs, and would have an effect on raid comp/balance/metas/etc.

Don’t ask the geniuses to think that far ahead.

If dual spec was added, there would be so many more healers and tanks to fill out these dungeon groups waiting for an hour for 1 or 2 players. Please add it.

Oh absolutely! There would be billions of new tanks and healers! Nobody would ever need to seek one! Wait times for tanks would be zero! How do I know this? Because dual spec was put in the game before and that’s what totally happened!

No u! You have no proof! You’re just making this up to be mean and hurtful and watch me suffer for not having nice things! Just like what my parents do when they tell me I can’t have more Ice-cream before dinner or it will make me sick - all lies!!!

i don’t like dual spec because it makes classes feel less unique. All paladins are the same now, etc.

Here’s the middle ground, make re-specs cost 40g instead of 50g. Or make it decay faster. But no dual spec, because it wasn’t in TBC, simple as that. I’m sure those of you who stocked up 30,000 gold from classic wouldn’t mind, you basically already have dual spec.
