Neither Asmongold nor Ion said anything as to the materials used to make the sword.
You mean vertex definitions and RGBA pixel information ?
But what kind of rubbing is there in the rub cages ? These are the questions that matter.
When you look up close at the sword there are no ribs, just something that can be interpreted as looking like a spine. At least that’s the way it looked to me.
But hey, go look for yourself. You can fly all the way to the top. You hit the “glass ceiling” just above the top of the sword.
What sword ?
The sword that is the topic of this discussion. Note that the “what sword” remark had to do with Asmongold’s question of how it would play into future expansions, not how it was made.
The main reason for the Sword as a plot device was to give us azerite going into BFA. With that said it feels like a wasted opportunity as BFA’s story was very poor. Most of us look at the sword could still be used ( hopefully) to tell a great story further down the road compared to what we have got thus far.
there is no sword, SEND TIFFANY TO THE INFIRMARY
Went to confirm. Indeed, no sword :
Never heard of it. No siree.
You should just accept that the meme is an indelible part of any discussion about that sword, and move on.
Further, everyone in this thread should remember that no discussion on an open forum like this is immune to being side-tracked…and that’s not something only you need to keep in mind, either. It’s ironic that you have been called to task for ‘ranting’ about A’gold by the some of the same people that side-lined the lore discussion themselves.
It seems like everyone in this thread is guilty of taking things too personally. Including me.
I don’t even like Asmongold. In fact, I strongly dislike him. Wild assumptions you’re making. Also, most of the likes are from 1 person lmfao

same here.

Well most or some, who knows. I thought BFA was fun and I enjoyed the story. As for the sword, I can’t see what else you would do with it. The Azeroth soul was saved, azerite production is under control and the story has moved on.
Personal assaults. It’s all they’ve got.
JESUS H. CHRIST give it a rest already!
This entire thread is like you’re role playing as a dumb blonde.
(That’s not a “personal assault” by the way, it’s an observation about what you appear to be doing.)
Two people in a tennis match. One hits the ball over the net, the other hits it back. First hits it again, 2nd hits it again. It goes on and on.
Finally one says “Will you stop hitting the ball over the net? I’m tired of hitting it back so there must be something wrong with you. Your a wacky blond”.
He says this completely unaware that he could just walk away and let the ball roll to a stop.
There is no sword in Silithus, just like there is no war in Ba Sing Se.
Jesus Tiffany give it a rest. Nobody cares about Asmon, nobody likes your comments except your puppet vulpera, and nobody asked you about the sword. We made a meme and youve now spent 11 days if your life acting angry and entitled because you either dont get the joke or are offended that someone criticized WoW. Either way you need to go outside and touch grass before you give yourself a stroke over a meme.

Really awful analogy. This whole thing is you not admitting that you didn’t recognize a meme when someone quoted it.
Personal assaults. It’s all they’ve got
Tiffany missing obvious memes and pop culture references for fifteen hours, 31 minutes, and 69.420 seconds
I still don’t. Asmongold asked a stupid question, probably on purpose, Ion made a snarky comment, Asmongold leaned back as if he was *** shocked *** and made a face because that’s what his fanboys love.
If you look at the definition of “meme” it says it’s a humorous image, video, piece of text, etc. I fail to see the humor.
But then I’m not 13 going on middle aged so maybe that’s the problem.
“Oh tee hee hee, tee hee hee, Asmongold made another face, hee hee hee hee hee”.
