When you look up close at the sword there are no ribs, just something that can be interpreted as looking like a spine. At least that’s the way it looked to me.
But hey, go look for yourself. You can fly all the way to the top. You hit the “glass ceiling” just above the top of the sword.

The sword that is the topic of this discussion. Note that the “what sword” remark had to do with Asmongold’s question of how it would play into future expansions, not how it was made.
The main reason for the Sword as a plot device was to give us azerite going into BFA. With that said it feels like a wasted opportunity as BFA’s story was very poor. Most of us look at the sword could still be used ( hopefully) to tell a great story further down the road compared to what we have got thus far.

You should just accept that the meme is an indelible part of any discussion about that sword, and move on.
Further, everyone in this thread should remember that no discussion on an open forum like this is immune to being side-tracked…and that’s not something only you need to keep in mind, either. It’s ironic that you have been called to task for ‘ranting’ about A’gold by the some of the same people that side-lined the lore discussion themselves.
It seems like everyone in this thread is guilty of taking things too personally. Including me.

Well most or some, who knows. I thought BFA was fun and I enjoyed the story. As for the sword, I can’t see what else you would do with it. The Azeroth soul was saved, azerite production is under control and the story has moved on.

I still don’t. Asmongold asked a stupid question, probably on purpose, Ion made a snarky comment, Asmongold leaned back as if he was *** shocked *** and made a face because that’s what his fanboys love.
If you look at the definition of “meme” it says it’s a humorous image, video, piece of text, etc. I fail to see the humor.
But then I’m not 13 going on middle aged so maybe that’s the problem.
