You’ve gotten more complaints than likes. If you’re going to try revisionism, don’t be so blatantly wrong lmao
I don’t even like baldie and mccuck company, but it’s funny to see you accuse me of being a fanboy since I like a meme that asmongold didn’t even start.
i really really hope they are just trolling, and not someone serious who is out there working and breeding and voting… im hoping, but im not optomistic.
Meh. I think it’s just someone who hasn’t yet mastered the art of admitting when they’ve goofed up. And the deeper you dig that hole, the harder it is to admit you were dumb, so you keep digging.
I, for one, have no trouble admitting when I’m wrong or mistaken, since it’s my usual state of being. Quoting Homer Simpson is simple, easy, and nips the kerfuffle in the bud.
I truly don’t understand why you’re going on about this myself.
Raiimir’s comment:
came before yours.
And you replied to him:
And Raelic explained:
All you needed to do at that point was say something like, “Oh. I didn’t know. D’oh!”
AND THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE END OF IT.
Your discussion about bones, etc. is irrelevant to the discussion about the meme, and your initial reply to Raiimir has nothing to do with the sword’s construction. It’s just you not recognizing that Raiimir was repeating a long-standing meme about the sword.
And now you keep going on and on and on, like some sort of broken record. Just LET IT GO.
And next time someone references a meme you don’t know, just admit you didn’t know it and move on.
I stopped replying because I have real life duties and such to attend to. Time better spent than involving myself further into a churlish back-and-forth. It’s sad that none of the parties involved can bring themselves to be the ‘adult in the room’, and truly put it to rest.
I WAS done with this, but I thought it should be made clear that none of the other posters in this thread is my alt…and that could easily be confirmed by comparing profiles, rather than making baseless assumptions. I mean…wouldn’t it be silly of me to presume you are the ‘sockpuppet’ of another participant of this thread?
Ah, well. It was probably a mistake to allow myself to be trolled back into this ‘discussion’, but there it is. I won’t be back, unless it somehow returns to a reasonable exchange about lore.
The meme actually fit the topic well, since that has happened dozens of times before when the same question was asked. Somone explaining that to you was also still on the topic of the sword. Your anti streamer rant was way off topic, and a bit confusing. At least the meme was about the subject at hand.
No the OP’s topic had to do with whether or not the sword was made of bones. Others changed the topic to be Asmongold turning a snarky reply to a stupid question into a “meme” by overreacting and making a funny face to thrill his fans.
The meme doesn’t even care about baldie’s reaction. The meme is Ion’s snarky reply, and that alone.
In addition, the OP was describing the sword. Her question was whether or not the sword could have been forged in Maldraxxus. For someone “acting like they want to be on topic”, that seems to be entirely beyond your grasp.
Yes that was a point but as to whether or not it was made out of bone in the 1st place it was worth going and taking a look. After all, had I discovered that looking up close it was not bone then that would have gone against the Maldraxxus theory.
In the end I pointed out that it was inconclusive. While the design on the hilt did resemble a spine it was not necessarily made of bone. That was on topic.
The comment from Asmongold and Ion had nothing at all to do with the topic.
No, when you look up close it looks nothing like a rib cage. At least to me it didn’t. It resembles a spine but it also looked like something that was little more than adding texture for the purpose of creating a design.
Up close it’s a little too “cartoony” with not enough detail to see if it’s bone or not bone.
