With the defense of Quel'Thalas at the forefront of the Sunguard's purpose, the Archon has seen fit to open up the ranks to include all honored Horde races. A unified front seeks to defend the ideals and tenets from those that would seek to eradicate the rebuilding of the Sin'dorei.
Showing upon the bulletins in each capital city of the Horde is a silken red flag with an emblazoned gold flame. Written on the parchment in an elegant script is the following:
“The bell of war tolls over the eternal spring of Quel’Thalas. The formerly peaceful meadows and glades of the Sin’dorei homeland lay tainted and ridden with conflict. Undead haunt the gloomy reaches of the Ghostlands, which stands as a terrible reminder of the betrayal of humanity. Our enemies encroach upon our borders with a hungering ferocity, but we shall rise up to defeat them. As the shield of the high home, the Sunguard will prevail against foes both foreign and domestic. We are true, honest, and brave. We are just, strong, and honorable. Our oath to Quel’Thalas is unwavering, and bound to our very souls. To those threatening the Children of Blood, the Crimson Crusade will know no mercy.”

The Dreadnaught of Quel’Thalas[/i]
Established nine years ago on the eve of the invasion of Northrend, the Sunguard was formed to protect the life and property of the Sin'dorei in Quel'Thalas. Since then, it has expanded to a fully developed private military force dedicated to the defense of Thalassian State.
Funded and supported by several prominent noble houses, the Sunguard has provided a score of disciplined soldiers trained to defend their home. After the style of the Royal Thalassian Armed Services, these fighting men and women donned the blood-stained livery of crimson and gold, and their mission now is to bring a new dawn to the people of Quel'Thalas.
About <The Sunguard>The Sunguard has been at the forefront of Moon Guard’s RP community with sprawling story arcs, epic battles, world pvp, and everything in between. Our members enjoy a quality atmosphere of support and respect, all the while bringing the war back into Warcraft. Regardless of paths walked in life, the Sunguard is an encompassing organization with a niche for anyone. That is, if they are willing to raise their blade on behalf of Quel’Thalas.
The majority of members compose the traditional format of the organization known as the Oathsworn. These soldiers swear an oath of fealty to Quel’Thalas and the betterment of their kin. The Oathsworn are divided into different categories based on their differing roles in battle.
Sunguard Subunits:The Sunspear BattalionAt the helm of the Sunspear Battalion, Knight-Commander Sakialyn Emberstar leads a force consisting of heavy infantry and cavalry forces. They constitute of our largest segment of soldiers and retainers.
The SuncastersThe Suncasters are commanded by Grand Arcanist Azriah Thelryn. This division is made up of spellweavers of a myriad of disciplines. They have a long tradition of respect, power, and devotion unique to those of the ability.
The PathfindersThe Pathfinders are composed of agents of the Thalassian State and Farstriders. Commanded by Ranger-Captain Vaelrin Firestorm, these special agents commonly engage in missions involving assassination, ambush, and espionage.
The DawnmendersThe Dawnmenders, led by Sunward Elleynah Stormsummer, are the Sunguard’s division of dedicated medical personnel. They are dutiful to the protection and wellbeing of the Sunguard and its allies. Skilled in healing, each Dawnmender serves as bravely in battle as in the infirmary.
Cabal of the Dying SunHaving recently merged with the Sunguard as a whole, a sect of Illidari servitors and demon hunters known as the Cabal of the Dying Sun, serving under Dread Commander Asteryn Truefeather, have ended their war against the Burning Legion. They function as shock forces and versatile units to fill any critical role within the Sunguard's armed forces.

The Crimson FleetThe Sunguard's military strength can be attributed to this excellent sailing fleet moored out of Sundial Anchorage. Nearly fifty vessels strong, the Crimson Fleet has been built from mercantile vessels and several powerful warships. Under the direction of Fleet Commander Esme Sunshard, the Crimson Fleet is tasked to defending the waters around Quel'Thalas.
The Falcon CompanyA cadre of brave adventures led by Sunward Zalin Shadowsunder, the Falcon Company is tasked with the difficult missions of plunging into the great depths of Azeroth and beyond. They brave the dangers of Azeroth's dark secrets and most nefarious enemies.
The Dragon CompanyCommanded by the Archon himself, the Dragon Company is a regiment of dutiful soldiers tasked to fighting the wars of the Horde. Their goal is to be suitable tribute to the armies of the Horde. They check Alliance aggression across Azeroth.
The Sunguard AcademyAs a gift to the people of Quel’Thalas, the Archon Felthier Truefeather had gifted the halls of an old military academy located within the Dawnspire. Here, under the guiding hand of its new headmaster Cynel Sunfire, the Sunguard Academy trains the future leaders of Quel’Thalas. Teaching magical arts, tactics, histories, and beyond, the Sunguard Academy is both a military college and a primary school for the children of Sunguard soldiers.

Our peak activity hours are between 6pm-12am server times with the highest activity on Sundays and Tuesdays.
Our raiding schedule is every Wednesday.
Our RBG schedule is every Sunday.
Event generally range between Monday-Thursday.

About time we got a new post! >:O
I've been a member of the Sunguard for ~3 years, and it's been the best experience in WoW I've ever had, and has kept me constantly subscribed where else I might have let my playtime lapse. Having come to Moon Guard explicitly to join TSG, I can say that I've never regretted the choice!
I've been part of this guild for about 5 years now and I've found another family in it.
If you want a guild where you're never bored and surrounded by some of the most creative people ever - if you want a guild that will offer you so many opportunities to jump into a guild story and/or expand on your own - if you want a guild where you make lasting friendships...then this guild is definitely for you.
Our story is top notch, our roll20 system is incredible, our RBG team is fantastic, our raid team is amazing - and most importantly, our players are awesome.

The Sunguard is an established guild and a longtime presence on the server - a really exceptional group of players!
I've been away from the game for quite some time so I'm sure there are many new faces, but Felthier, the other officers and members since have created one of the few guilds I've found that offers a great experience in roleplay (for a wide variety of character types and RP intensity preferences - including those just getting started ), game content / mechanics (raiding, PVP), and a sizable community where even those who play at odd hours can find guildmates online.
Definitely an asset to the community and an a worthy destination for those interested in membership!
