I think the end-game haters are just more vocal on the forums. For those that main twinks, they just lost a major part of why they’re playing WoW at all. In my experience, though, twink mains are rare. A lot of us have problems with endgame content (I don’t feel like I have much to do, personally), but in general, the focus for most is still on 120.
Must be it. I’ve gotten him in 4 games over the last 2 days now. Even all losses, that would net 1 level. (and he’s won all four because you know, twink warriors)
It has to be a bug. They’ll likely get a WoW vacation for exploiting it, though.
Couldn’t find this thread but luckily someone linked it to me. Thank the heavens! I see both sides of the argument but are we really to be segregated in such a way that it makes it completely unplayable?
There are some folks out there that just play twinks and that’s it. If that’s how they want to spend their time sure go right ahead. Blizzard should not punish us for the way they want to play.
I don’t think twinking is fair to leveling players. No one wants to get smashed in an uncompetitive environment thanks to power disparities.
However, I do think players should have the ability to enjoy low-level PvP as an alternative to 120 PvP.
I think the solution is to reintroduce scaling or templates to sub120 PvP, and then integrate the xp on/off queues.
Battlegrounds, even in leveling, are by nature competitive, its player vs player environment, and thus default competition with the others there.
That being said I do agree with templates used in leveling battlegrounds to that the que separation can be reverted.
If they do reimplement templates, I hope they allow me to at least pick which secondary stat(s) it prioritizes. Getting stuck with a glut of mastery, for example, when your class or spec has no use for it blows absolute chunks.
I do really like the idea behind stat templates, just last time it was so half-baked.
All they needed was some sort of reforging mechanic in PvP. Like a stat-allocation system in the Honor talents section.
All of this discussion over players WANTING the experience to dominate another player with the advantage on their side. “Fight someone your own size” really doesn’t have any worth these days.
Grieving over not being able to grief other players. Ironic.
Yeah, I don’t get it: Am I supposed to feel sorry for Twinks that they can only queue with other Twinks and not be an overall negative experience for a player who’s leveling by doing PVP?
Cause, um, I don’t. Like, at all. Seems this Twinking thing should have been addressed long before now.
Twinks are their own worst enemy, imo. The whole point of twinking is to ensure an advantage against low level players, and the toxicity and behavior is why they were relegated to being forced to queue against each other.
Blizzard is never going to spend the time and resources trying to balance low level PvP, when they can’t even keep max level stuff in tune all the time.
Well, that’s one of the main reasons twink players are upset. Low level pvp is an absolute clown fiesta. You don’t need to be a twink to roll into a lowbie bg as a loomed hunter and curbstomp noobs. It seems ridiculous to segregate an entire group of players on the grounds of “balance” when balance is still not even close to achieved without them.
- Twinks are toxics to community
- Twinks are minority which makes BG UNPLAYABLE for MAJORITY
Blizzard caters to Majority of player base.
Twinks :
QQ, now we need to play vs same toxic players. We don’t want to.
Good riddance. Only players playing twinks are these incapable of reaching 1200 ELO at max level.
THANK YOU BLIZZARD. I will may be do some BGs now on my alts
In this instance especially. Take the toxicity and the behavior out of it and you’re still left with a community of people who insisted that the only reason they made twinks was to go against other twinks.
Three are no twinks that can 1v5 people in greens. If they do, then that is because the people in greens are terrible, either by not knowing how to play, or because they are not going after the pocket healer standing right in front of them (in which case it is also not a 1v5).
Also, any gear available to a twink is available to you, if you so choose.
Really though, this is my issue, people have been blaming others since the beginning of this game for things that are actually l2p issues. People cannot accept that they are simply not as good as some other players, and so they lash out at perceived issues.
Sure, people will invest thousands of gold “just” to BG for 1 hours at level 19 before leveling 20.
you are fake news
Well, since most twinks don’t buy it, they loot it because the good gear is often BoP, who is really the fake news? Running a couple instances is too tough for ya?
I think they should force multiboxers to their own PVP bracket. They disrupt PVP more than any twink ever did.
Gear is not the problem. Enchants are It’s the only thing making twinks “broken”.
There are people who multibox twinks too. I know of a couple. One of them uses his multibox characters to agree with himself regularly.
