That’s already been proven to be false, full stop. Even fewer in enchanted heirlooms, because those are twinks. It’s not a refusal, I just wear what my character gets during leveling. I am not ‘gimping’ my character, I am playing the game as it was intended and can complete any leveling content completely fine - outside of the BGs where there’s twinks. It has nothing to do with ‘wanting to win’ and everything to do with ‘wanting to destroy a bracket’ which we’ve already proven is all twinks are around for, at least 98% Of them. The other 2% do enjoy the competition and continue to play xp-off games only.
and yes, heirloom neck, shoulders, trinkets, and helm sub-20 are a bit too much
and my answer was specific, all of them do. Because they all increase his power and is not something the average leveler has access to; like me. They’re all unfair advantages, otherwise why would he be wearing them? That’s what twinks do, they garner an unfair advantage against levelers to destroy people in BGs.
VC set is also something a leveler wouldn’t get without turning their xp off.
You have not “proven” anything, other than being pretty delusional if you think people wearing heirlooms in leveling bgs is not the norm. I seriously can’t tell if you’re trolling or don’t even play this game.
Yes, actually I have; and it’s factual. All you have to do is create a character and level 1-19 and see what gear you get from quests, dungeons, or bgs.
not sure if be amused that this post isnt locked by now or a bit sad at the lack of moderation with still the flame posts without any removal…
either way this twink dilema was fixed, twinkers seems to not like it and are trying to find way to by pass this which only will be the end of twinking in general by removing the exp off npc all together.
You have access to all those exact same enchants via the AH. If they aren’t there, you can solicit trade chat for someone to make them for you. Not having your gear enchanted is your own personal choice. The enchants being something you do not have access too obtain is total flim-flam. I doubt the toon you listed has enchanting as a profession, since he has to have engineering as a profession for the head piece. He got the enchants through the same avenues you are able to acquire said enchants from the AH or another toon.
You assume too much. I don’t twink, but I almost always made sure my lower level toons had proper enchants & gems while they were leveling. You choosing not to enchant your gear is your own problem, not the twinks, or mine. But you try to make it my prob by saying, since I don’t enchant my gear to improve my toon, no one else should either! Personal choices matter to only the person making them. Don’t try to make your personal choices my personal choices. Don’t attempt to make your personal choices the “norm” for 1 million players. They aren’t.

Ok, so here. You prove my point. Some of you complaining about twinks literally do not care whether you win or lose & that is ok! You do you. But to expect everyone else to do you too is wrong. I do not want to do you, I want to do me!
There really is no right or wrong way to play this game. To come onto the forums & say the twinks are playing wrong is, in & of itself, wrong! Well, there is Ion’s way to play but I won’t go into that. I don’t know what the answer is to make everyone happy. I do think what Blizz has recently done to the Twink community is not the right answer either. Segregating Twinks from the general population is going end badly.

What the dumb? The exact same thing can be said in reverse… Why should everyone have to resort to turning off xp and farm old content, just so some twink can quit as soon as the tables are even lol
you’re one of the only pro-twink people on the thread that haven’t spent the entire time armory bashing and trolling. i’ve enjoyed the debate with you tbh.
Appreciated, and likewise, (/high five!) but I’m definitely no saint… I’ve said some pretty crappy things to people in the years I’ve been on these forums. Things that I’m definitely not proud of. That said, there is a certain subset of people on this board that vehemently despise anyone who has anything at all to do with pvp. It gets very difficult to restrain oneself when constantly being called a griefer or scumbag repeatedly from seemingly every angle.
i am a random bg hero who mostly does end game pvp for marks of honor. and low level pvp for experience. i am not srs bsnss about it at all. and like i said before i just want things to be fair. and to me rolling lowbies isn’t fair and i wouldn’t want to do it. but i wouldn’t mind twinking for fun against other twinks. but i respect your views on it as well.
I just want twinks to admit they’re only in it to roll newbies and stop lying about it. Once everyone sees the truth and they admit it as a whole, then I don’t care if they’re in normal BGs or not lmao
Have you ever played a full twink BG? I have. Only a handful of times back in WoD, but they are an absolute blast. The tradeoff? Depending on the bracket, you may spend four or five hours waiting in queue. I retired my 70 rogue twink exactly for that reason. I stuck it out for a few months after those matches, just doing arenas, but I eventually lost interest.
Many of the posters in this thread vastly underestimate the herculean effort it would take to organize twinks to make separate queues work. Most of us have 120 mains, and would rather invest our time there. Twinking’s fun, but most do it pretty casually. If there’s no way to just pick up and play, people lose interest. But twink-only matches are not the problem - I’d probably play my twink more, not less, if separate queues were viable (although, the 19 bracket sounds like it might be doing okay).
I dunno, I’ve seen quite a few posts saying end-game is boring and they don’t want to do it. Sounds like the dichotomy between what you do (focus on a 120 main) and what the end-game haters do (focus on twinks) is an underrated issue.
There’s talk of a glitch/bug to get into XP-on bgs with your XP turned off. Then, too, if you don’t win your BG, leveling through them is slow-going. I’m talking from experience on that last!
