The stigma against twinking never warranted this

Dont queue if you dont wanna put in the work to keep up.

How dare you not have fun while watching a 2x 2 match where the most decisive factor is how much the twinks on each side will care about the BG’s objective, while you pray to god when you are capping/holding something (even with a partner) the other side twink doesnt notice you and blow you up in seconds to teabag and /rofl at your dead body?
umad? just go and buy those 10k+ pieces worth of gold that will last for a bracket while leveling or farm a profession for an OP helm that will also last for only a single bracket. But it doesnt matter, twinks swamed them all, so you gotta pump your gear game up so you wont be useless and free HK for the enemy.

This is literally the only guy I can tell has actually experienced what actual twink hell is like, based on what he’s saying.

Yeah man that totally happens. And what we’re left with is some of the most fun those 2x2 twinks have had, while the rest sit and try to compete. It’s likely those 4 twinks arent even trying to dominate lowbies and that’s just how they got queued up. So how do we cater to both types of fun? I don’t know, but I would say deleting twinks is not the right answer.

Then find out what those characters are doing and do it yourself? That’s what I do. Fighting agains twinks inspires me to get better at the game and in turn have more fun.

Although I can see how complaining all day on the forums that people are better than you is quite enticing as well…

Then play your character better against twink queues where you can actually be met with your mettle.

You will never admit it, but you revel in the fact that you can take on all the “plebs.”

Sitting in the base of silvershard mines while getting starfalled, moonfired, and sunfired by 3 moonkins is not a LTP issue.

Sorry, are you unable to read?

It’s not an issue of keeping up in that bracket, because I was in full blues from quests+heirlooms and had half the HP of these people. 1 person was able to solo our entire team.

If you don’t see this as a problem, I don’t know what to tell you.

As stated and should already be a known fact, if regular ques go to a day long when twinks are taken out, how long do you think twink ques are? Yeah, think about it…

Also yes it is, it means you need to learn how to play a moonkin. Un-twinked moonkins still wreck, so what’s your point? At this point people are just complaining about balance issues and not even about twinking…

Remember toxicity is not exclusive to twinking. It is in every aspect and style of play we have in this game.

Toxicity is not the norm.

No one is stopping noobs from getting just as good of gear as twinks. If you aren’t as good? That’s your fault. Get better gear, no one is stopping you. Just cause other people try harder doesn’t mean you have any right to complain. If you’re not going to try, you are clearly going to get beat to a pulp. If you aren’t going to put in minimal effort why on earth are you playing pvp in the first place? To lvl up you say? Well shucks. That’s what the quest lines are for.

I’m fine with separate queues so long as the queues work and aren’t ridiculously long. Is that what is happening?

The reason I freeze my exp is because I don’t want to constantly have to get gear for my character. I don’t min/max my toon to be indestructible, but I like to get it to a decent power level once and be done. As a casual player who doesn’t like BfA endgame, it’s refreshing.

If separate queues now make them extremely long, couldn’t they have done something else to compromise? Boost leveling characters’ template stats, allowed only a couple frozen-exp players per BG, make them merc, etc.? I understand both sides of the argument and think there’s a better way to make everyone happy.

I did a lot of low-level PvP while twinks were seperated. A lot.

The queues didn’t magically sail up to insane numbers, sorry to shatter your narrative.

looks like you needed better gear.

As someone who actively re-levels alts for fun and loves to casually BG in all brackets, I strongly disagree with your claim.

I also enjoyed twinking while leveling which slowly became more and more pointless as Blizzard moved towards stat templates and the ques became insanely long.

Everytime I see a post that is pro twink, there is something that I notice on their profile, their win rate is crazy high.

I have a 49.9% win rate. That’s from spending time being a merc and bouncing back and forth. I am winning just as much as I am losing and that’s how it should be. People should be close to a 50% +/- 10. If your win rate is 80% then that means your effecting the outcome of a match extensively. That means you are stripping people of a win, not because your better skilled, not because your side is better at tactics, it’s because you were able to 1-2 shot people your level and go 1v3. Why would someone wnat to play against people that slap a button and kill them after they do a near perfect opener and do little damage? why would a new person want to go back to that?

You want a min Ilvl to join a match? That is basically saying “Play my way or get owned.” There is no difference in that and putting Twinks in your own que. The only difference is your que is a little longer, you play against people that are equally geared , and there is no more “ROFLSTOMP.”

I have seen it in all brackets twinks standing on a cap or opponents GY going 1v3 /fex, /spit, /lol… That’s not because they like to max a character out, it’s because they got wrecked playing against evenly geared players and didn’t have the skill, so they need an advantage to make up for their crap skills.

I leveled from 70-120 within the past year, and battlegrounds were one of the best ways to level. In principle questing would be faster if I already knew all the quests and didn’t bother with the quest text, but that’s often not the case.

During a period when I didn’t have a lot of time to play each day, I also leveled a couple complete levels from harvesting my garrison herb garden even though I wasn’t an herbalist. This was extremely fast in XP/minute, though slow in XP/day since there was a limit to how many herbs there were to harvest in the herb garden.

I think twinks are mostly fine, but arguing that levelers don’t do or need to do battlegrounds isn’t a reasonable argument.

You want individuals who are leveling to stick with questing and other things?

That sounds like you’ld be left with a twink queue to me.

Literally wearing the best gear available to that level. Not my fault people stop their XP at 109 and get gear I don’t have acess to at levels 101 to 108.

You’re just trolling now

There’s a universe of difference between ‘not trying’ and ‘literally getting the mathematically best gear for a given bracket’…

Why are people on these forums so, so bad when it comes to grey areas? Not everything is so black and white.

Not at all, when I got stomped in bgs I took time to level and gear so I could keep up with them and its been a blast ever since.

You’re basically telling the vast majority of the playerbase, “Dont PvP because you don’t care enough about it and it’s not for casuals.”

Get your head out of that tunnel.
