The stigma against twinking never warranted this

Not in sub-BFA zones, which is where the noobs are.

Same, there was a undead mage called Heaven, always played Arcane and he would only gank people at goldshire all day long.

Better days tbh, but people on the forums seem to forget.

Yeah, now a days you have people turning WM on, dying, and non stop complaining saying it shouldn’t be in the game. Oof.

Based on what I’ve witnessed, the terms can be VERY loosely interpreted to the point that citing them can be considered trolling by a CM having a bad day.

It’s why I’ve only pve’d for the past like 4 expacs. Games just boring to me outside of raiding, nothing else to do.

Which is why I was happy playing my twink, now it’s back to only raiding twice a week and playing other games.

if you’re raiding and have gear at 120 why not do max level bgs?

Yep and I enjoy playing a fair game so it may make you happy to play the way you want long as it don’t interfere with my game play. Camping world PVP i can deal with that, but in no way should you ask for respect. Farming noobs in BG is fine but don’t look for respect. You want a PVP then 1V1 because 1v1 camping ends real fast in world PVP lol.

Yeah I did most my raiding in BC and LK, haven’t been a part of a guild and raided since outside of pugs occasionally. I enjoy casual PvP, leveling alts, twinking, mog collecting, mount collecting achievment hunting, etc.

BGs at max level are pretty damn boring. Most of BFA locks have barely been viable in them. Not until recently did they add a PvP talent that’s basically mandatory for BGs - demonic armor, but it just takes up a slot for other useful necessary talents. You basically die if you’re targeted by any melee.

Compare them to something like a moonkin and they’re an absolute joke.

It’s boring. People have too much HP, it doesn’t feel exciting and warlocks are a snorefest at max lvl. They used to be great, in Wotlk.

OO! ooo! OO! OOOO! ( does her best Horshack impression)
We hade a Tauran druid named Gawwd. Just the name brought fear to general chat. I never actually had an encounter with him, but I saw him around plenty of times & ran. O.o

I don’t think that was necessarily the issue. The problem was, among the other things mentioned, that Blizz reintroduced “ratings for gear.” So people that grind arenas all day could get higher ilvl gear than those that just ran random bgs. It created a win-more situation, which had been previously removed because it was dumb. A 2400 level player doesn’t also need an inflated ilvl. That’s the exact opposite of the supposed “skill>gear” reasoning for the changes.

Like I told someone else 45 min ago in this thread, que time in the 20 bracket (exp off) was 7 minutes for a random bg. I’ve had this toon since mid-Cata, and that que time is consistent with our times from back then.

If you’re talking about templates, It’s because templates were complete garbage. Everyone did the exact same thing and it was boring as hell. I had every toon maxxed in Legion and didn’t touch BGing after playing it through with all of them.

Want top damage by pressing 2 buttons? MM hunter. Booooooring.

There was only one season that gearing was easy to attain for everyone but still mattered a little bit, during the end of WoD. One season in the entirety of the game where at max level you could easily get PvP gear with almost no effort and have fun.

if i were the pvp dev i’d institute the same thing they did in legion but NOT make ilevel matter. disable trinkets and enchants. i’d just make it so you have your stats and everyone is on an even playing field. then i’d put twinks and levelers back into the same queue.

People stop twink queing because you can only get one game in a day with the times. At most I’ve only ever seen 4 or so twinks in a single match and that was rare. Trying to fill an entire BG roster both sides with only XP off players is impossible.

World pvp is rare now outside of bFA. I would sometimes turn on war mode to hunt rares and treasure chests, it’s pretty rare to see anyone else due to the combination of old world zone, sharding, and phasing

I probably shouldn’t have mentioned this though, because now Blizz will nerf that and I’ll never see another rare or treasure chest again

We had a ton of druids that were campers. Stryfe comes to mind and his entire guild would hunt people on horde down, rival pvpers.

There was also a guild of gnome rogues that would come to durotar and constantly gank people or bait them into attacking then have more gnomes pop out.

Yup. I /who’d all the common leveling areas in Azeroth and at most there was 4-ish people. Pretty sad…they need to just merge servers, honestly.

Which is not a Blizzard related issue if regular queue times are at an acceptable rate.
