i have lots of opinions that i share with my friends but i don’t do what you do on the forums and get myself banned for being rude. i imagine you’ll start calling people “kid” soon as if that is also an insult. lol.
Some people get sick of the gear treadmill and don’t care about playing at 120 though. Blizz has even realized this and are finally making classic servers. In hindsight, Blizz should have created some level locked servers for each new xpac, which I’m assuming is what will eventually happen if Classic is a success.
Off topic, do you ever make sunday rp story threads anymore? I miss those, they were fun. I miss Triplex’s panda rant threads too.
There is Nothing constructive about these threads, nor is there any form of objectivity either.
It boils down to basically a pissing contest from two different sides. The people pissed off that something was changed, and the people happy it got changed.
In between is nothing but words being thrown around as a way to try and insult someone they don’t know or have any idea as to what they have or have not done in this game.
Yes it did. People don’t twink for any sense of fair competition.
They twink for an advantage, and then they turn off XP gains because that’s what they’re really after. They need to feel like a bully and take advantage of a major power disparity.
If what you were really after was anything approaching competition, you would be playing max level RBGs, Arenas, or some other actually competitive game.
Instead you’re hanging out in a lowbie WSG with BIS gear and level 60+ enchants, farming leveling toons wearing heirlooms or questing greens and dungeon blues.
I’m not pissed off, just the fact the game goes to hell when people are able to fix the systems. Steamrolling new players does in no way help the game and we are stuck with the same old twinks making the queues longer because players are unable to get a fair fight.
you also tell them “my queues are 8m on horde” and they say “THAT’S CUZ OF ZANDARALI YOU JUST WAIT” as if new characters aren’t being leveled all the time, regardless. twinks queues are not gonna ever be good if they all stop qeueing because they can’t roll levelers anymore, and it will die. which is not levelers fault. it’s their fault for not being honest.
You can joke about it now because you have “Baby-Mode” added to the game, but back then it was pretty serious. I remember people having to transfer servers because we would non-stop camp them until they logged out. It’s not hard to track player movement, alt on opposite faction /who. Go to the zone, spam the macro.
I haven’t seen anyone demanding they fight against noobs, people can already do that, It’s called ganking in world PvP. It’s not an insanely large community but it is quite a bit of players who enjoy it.
Separating them into their own ques in the past already proved there weren’t enough of them to have active ques, even in the 19 bracket essentially killing off a way some people in the game enjoy playing which I think is wrong.
People against twinks often times complain about people being twinks that aren’t and a lot of times are just not good at PvP, which is fine, but blaming twinks for every loss or death is pretty silly…especially considering there’s really not much that separates a twink from a regular player.
I don’t remember having an issue with DK’s. Some could stomp me if I made mistakes, most … not so much. The most annoying thing was getting bounced around from their deathgrip or what ever it is that pulls players to them. Fear, bubble + speed boost, dispel, done. But I always play disc in pvp so maybe heals didn’t have it so bad. Warriors & rogues & the occasional well played hunter were my bane. Locks & shadow priests, many moons ago with their drain mana. Locks with dots after that. But DK? Hmm… nope don’t remember having an issue with them along with pally’s & shamans & mages.
