Queues are currently very long in some brackets without twinks to carry them atm.

Yea, used to be. Now with BoA’s it’s really not bad. But people cried and here we are with even leveling queues over an hour… could all just be a big bug though. No confirmation if all are merged still or not.

I actually really liked templates. They even threw in about 1-2% extra stats if you knew how to boost your ilvl enough. This allowed us min/max-obsessed twinks to still have that satisfaction of squeezing as much juice out as possible. While still leveling the playing field apart from skill.

I used to tell my irl WoW friends about twinking, before templates, and told them I enjoyed twinking because it allowed me to have THE set of stats to pvp, forever. No gear progression, no endless title and mount farming. It is like choosing a character in a fighting game and entering the match, no worries required. Just play the game.

Templates made low level WoW pvp into a fighting game, and the rest of you twinks can damn well quote me on this: done right, this would be the end-all-be-all of stable, skill-based pvp at low levels.

This is part of the reason I decided not to level this character. I have others on the gear treadmill at 120, and wanted a character I could just log into and play. She already had a bunch of gear from the last expansion, so the time I’ve had to put into gear specifically has been minimal. It’s a great break from endgame.

yea but they wont stop us from putting the chants on the heirlooms and just doing it the old way… smh this is terrible and going to end bad for the levelers either way.

id stay at 59 with crap heirloom gear if it would let me que up… cause i would still own everyone, the twinking made it so u knew good players were gonna be in Q against you!

Some of us are, and have been, doing it. The levelers who are “new and inexperienced” like your dad will still have a bad time and probably not play again. In the meantime, twinks have their miserable queues, levelers have long queues (as I’m experiencing atm) Who exactly is winning in the end?

I would rather not having queues or long queues than dealing with twinks.

what’s the point in getting the BG setup and stuff if it’s only enjoyable for those that twink or whoever has twinks on their side?

I ventured out into the twink free leveling bg’s today. What I didn’t see is people going 35-0 on the scoreboard. Class/spec my eye.
