Shiv is never used rotationally, but yah ig u legit just like trolling the rogue forums. And if calling you a liar for lying is insulting you, then yes, I’m insulting you.

If youre using it to fill CPs, then youre using it rotationally. Quit trolling because youre actually just lying at this point.
Rotation implies constant use. I use Shiv as a combo-point builder sparingly at the bottom of a priority list.
It’s not on rotation.

If you ever use it with the intention of it being a dps gain, its “rotationally”. Even if its a button you press once every 7 minutes but its a dps gain to press, it would be “rotational”.
It is never a dps gain as outlaw to press shiv. Outlaw never does this and doing so would be a dps loss. Its probably a small one, so if you want to do it because it feels good or is fun for you, go crazy I guess, but the way you were using it (to fill to 7 CP when ghostly is on cd sometimes) would fall under what these people probably mean by “rotational usage”
It is never a dps gain to press shiv as outlaw except in the esoteric sense where an enraged mob might kill your tank then you, leading to a dps gain by staying alive. It is never pressed for its damage or resources, its better to finish at 6 cp then do this damage wise.

Okay, but I like using my entire kit. If Ghostly Strike is down and I happen to land on six CP’s and don’t want to overcap, knowing Shiv is right there, I’m going for the full seven.
I can’t be one of those players that sucks everything out of a spec for the sake of the number tied to it. That’s why I use Kidney Shot and Gouge and Cheap Shot frequently.
