why don’t you go do rated?
Some us do indeed do rated.
Sometimes we log in early before friends are on for RBGs. So we solo que randoms (or used to before they were all premades).
The situation is so bad, that queuing anything other than Blitz (to gear for Rated BGs) was impossible.
I know this because I just resubbed a week ago and had to gear this character out. Random BG’s are not an option, because real PvP’ers do Rated BGs (hence, none of my friends were going to queue with me for a random bg!).
Randoms bgs should be just that. Casual, ungrouped content.
this is a fallacy called “no true scotsman”
What fallacy?
What does stomping uncoordinated pugs lacking voice comms in hyper 20+man premade prove?
Competitive players do rated.
Wannabes do unrated with premades because they can’t win vs rated players. I don’t know a single Rated BG player that queues randoms (queues in groups).
That’s okay, most of us don’t.
i quoted it, by saying “real pvpers do rated” you are trying to imply that anyone who doesn’t do rated is not a real pvper which isn’t true.
it doesn’t prove anything other than how insecure you are, not everyone is out to prove how good they are.
competitive people will race to finish their breakfast first. whether someone plays rated or unrated is irrelevant.
LMAO true.
That someone hates losing enough to cheat. Lol
Kind of a pointless argument, though. EBG premade players play coy, and act as if there’s nothing wrong with circumventing game design to gain an unfair upperhand. Blizzard doesn’t care or it would be stopped by now. No one thinks any of them are remotely good at the game, so if they want to beat up on weekend dads and stop clicking their abilities long enough to high-five, who cares. They’re like The Orphans gang from the movie The Warriors.
My suggestion to every person who queues epics without a community would be to stop, and just play BGB instead.
this is the typical excuse of players from other game modes who step into epics and get stomped and have no clue how to win. rating doesn’t matter in epics and calling us bad won’t change that fact.
my advice would be to get better, form your own team, and fight back, the more people you play with the better your experience will be and the more premades existing and fighting each other the better the pvp community will be overall.
It’s really done wonders for the epic community hasn’t it?
Its about as dead as its ever been the same people game after game after game especially outside the weekly quest windows.
And as someone who has done many many epic games what decides who wins is usually # of healers and # of flavor meta specs like fire mage or mm hunter more than any other thing.
Doesn’t matter what strategy you use or items when the other team can wipe you in 3 seconds cause of their class stacking. So no there is nothing to “learn” other than how to reroll
yeah actually, we have more communities than ever.
no, queues in bfa and sl were substantially longer and there were fewer communities and fewer active people in them. epics are more popular today than they have ever been.
queue times on ally are up because everyone transferred to ally shifting the population, but overall compared to previous expansions they are down.
nah, what wins is the most coordinated team, i’ve won under all sorts of bad conditions, such as zero healers vs 10, and facing a FOTM stacked team.
i would rather have a cohesive team of regular mains than a bunch of fotms, they will have the most consistent win rates.
this has nothing to do with class stacking and everything to do with the current short TTK meta, which from what i hear is shifting in TWW to a longer format again, so we shouldn’t have situations were the first class to reach peak burst wins(fire mage, in case you are wondering), it will go back to sustained DPS with targeted kill windows.
I like epic bgs. It’s sad to see the bracket getting ruined for casual PvPers who respect the spirit of fair play.
My point was its not about que times.
Its about the # of actual separate players queing them. I said its the SAME people queing over… and over and over again.
Which is very true.
I have yet to see that ever happen so i believe you are probably lying. There is no chance a team with 0 healers will ever win against a team with 10 especially not with a few meta dps in there to.
Mass Voice comms alone is sufficient to win epic bgs.
its always been that way. where do you think communities, premades, and syncing comes from? people starting seeing the same names game after game and they start talking to each other and form friendships, those groups grow and people start to sync so everyone can get into the same game have fun together.
i’ve seen how you play when things get tough, you go find a corner of the map to hide in.
btw, it was ashran, and we killed trem.
against most pugs sure, but once you start facing other premades you need more than just communication.
So in other words you have a echo chamber of 2000 people with nobody else populating the entirety of the game mode so in other words… its dead
Yeah i don’t waste my time when my team cant even kill grips
if the game mode was dead, it wouldn’t have multiple new communities and premades. it would still be SAS vs RUIN
There is in game voice chat. Get your raid to use it. Then after doing so you might possibly understand why communities exist and why they are so popular. Trying to get pugs to listen 18/20 times is like herding cats.
it’s god awful though, they should just integrate discord
