It still not very clear when the mythic boss mount drop rates are being reduced to 1%. The Survival Guide and the Time Runs Short: BFA article have contradictory statements/suggestions on when this is changing. This has historically happened during the expansion launch, not the pre-patch. I remember losing an Argus mount due to everyone still trying to figure out their classes during BFA pre-patch in Legion.

This. Can we get clarification? I assumed this would be like every other expansion and the Mythic mounts would go to 1% on expansion release, not pre-patch. However, in the video they specifically show both Mythic mounts when talking about what is going away with the pre-patch without mentioning anything concrete.

And here a few others in the delay pre-patch thread were saying that if you didn’t have those already then you don’t deserve them.

Not so much that you don’t deserve them. More that if you don’t have them by now you probably wouldn’t be getting them anyway. I didn’t think I was going to get AotC for ny’alotha. Started months into the tier, took about 2 months of pure pugging to achieve. Haven’t killed any more bosses in months. If I can pug my way to it easily in time, anyone who was going to get it should have had it by now.
