The secret forum that exists is not helping

^this.

Some posters have bashed this game and Blizzard for 5+ years. If it’s as bad as they claim they should really find something they enjoy doing with their time. Players need to accept that after half a decade, sometimes more, of hating a product that they’ll probably never enjoy that product again. lol

This is true but at this point we the players ARE Q/A.

I got some tinder if you wanna bring the matches.

Social media sites ARE literally outright replacing forums 100%. Not too long ago, Bethesda shut down their official forums and told everyone there to go to their official Discord.

Blizzard’s official forums’ days may be numbered as well, considering the trends from other major companies in the industry who are all ditching forums for social media.

Blizzard’s forums are still more active than most other forums, so there is that at least. There might still be a few years left for Blizzard’s forums if nothing else.

The name changed from Ghostcrawler to Ion, but the vitriol remains the same.

Forums are a lot easier to navigate. The WoW forums are set up so nicely that you can find any information you want pretty easily. No other site are you able to do that, not even reddit really.

If they aren’t reading the forums, I’d say that’s a bad call. I mean you could get all your player feedback from people that unsub or Twitter, but it’s not very organized and people on Twitter use a lot of gifs and emojis and it can be hard to get to the good stuff

“forum ideas are bad”
Well then streamers ideas arent working either and it’s mostly around the top end “e-sports” garbage…

Streamers ideas arent working either by the looks of BFA/SL so why not try to somewhat “listen” for once to the community rather than the same 3-5 streamers? Or maybe just maybe dev’s actually ignore every single feedback to the point they feel the preasure of the players and they actually give up an inch but they will never apologize for anything really.

The Elder Scrolls Online forums are alive and well, and far more populated with developer interaction than these ones are.

The Elder Scrolls Online forums are among the outliers these days. Some forums are still fairly active, but other have been dying out completely. The Bethesda forums had gotten pretty dead with mostly just activity in the Elder Scrolls Series discussion.

There are some unique advantages that the WoW forums have over social media platforms (such as Class forums) and the Overwatch forums still seem fairly active, so I would say that the Blizzard forums still have some years left.
