Maybe I am the only one but I feel like the lore/content outside of leveling is fairly untouched.

I would like to see a content patch in a future expansion or some raids and updated group stuff. It was rather entertaining.

I don’t know, they might return when blizzard needs to unite the Alliance and the Horde. Meh.

Their potential was/is rather soiled by them being used as nothing more than a punching bag with little development or intrigue.

Every time the Scarlet Crusade’s acted up, it’s always been a dreadlord responsible, and they’ve always been totally and utterly annihilated. Would be neat to see the order reforged, especially now with Sylvannas and her Forsaken growing(which were their primary adversaries since vanilla.) It’d have to be different, however, with new leaders and new rules to prevent history from repeating itself.

Would be interesting to see the scarlet flame rekindle as an offshoot from the currently united paladin orders. Perhaps someone is disgruntled with the way things are, and believe it is too passive. They are not alone, thus they and those in agreement leave to start a new crusade. Instead of being an outright “evil to everyone” faction, it could be merely tolerant of others, but open to human paladins and priests willing to serve them to keep with their human-centric identity.

Alas, we’d never get that much choice. They’d just be put up as another characterless bad guy to beat up for blues and purples.

I partially agree with that, I agree with Dreadlord part anyway because well that has been canon.
But to that same token - Sylvannas currently I feel like is under the influence of an old god. Much like part of WoW has been corrupted by the old gods.

That aside yes I agree, I would like to see an uprising of some kinda. Even if its an obscure 5 man boss from the original dungeons who suddenly reappears.

All I know I need me some more Scarlet action because I currently can’t think of anything better. I considered Uldum or Maraudon but we had Ulduar and Emerald Nightmare.

I can’t think of anything with little representation at the moment.

The original Scarlet Crusade pretty much no longer exists. The Scourge and death knights in Legion wiped them out near entirely off the face of the Eastern Kingdoms.

The splinter faction, the Scarlet Onslaught, still exists in Northrend though. Doing well, but they’re pretty evil by this point. Fanatical to the highest end and they torture or execute anyone who says otherwise. The priest campaign in Legion touched on it so maybe they’ll reappear again later on.

I would totally love more Scarlet Crusade stuff. My fav. Transmogs are my scarlett crusade ones :blush:

The Scarlet Crusade is like Cockroaches and they keep turning up, even in Legion we acquire there greatest weapon next to Ashbringer and you see plenty of them in Dalaran, during the Priest questlines to unlock more champions you also save more ‘sane’ Scarlet members in Northrend and recruit there ‘leader’ i suppose we call her and the others into the priest order hall, given what happened recently with Undercity and the Alliances full on invasion i could see the Scarlet Crusade buddying up to the Alliance in support of killing the Hordes Undead populations, im kind of surprised we saw none of them show up during the Siege of Undercity tbh, hell im surprised we didn’t see more fanatical Knights of the Silverhand or Brotherhood of Light show up since they weren’t always nice to Undead members of the Horde.

My Human Warrior i tend to play as a Stromgarde Human but i even have a mog for him based on the Scarlet Crusade because if im being honest, i liked them as a NPC faction.

The Scarlet Crusade needs to return under the Alliance, they need more morally grey characters that aren’t just perfect every time.

The world is ending, they’re needed even if people disagree with them.

Man, those were always the best questlines with the scarlet crusade. I especially like the one where the dude jumps off the cliff so I won’t be the one to kill him.

The leadership of the Scarlet Crusade was killed off by player characters in EPL.

Would love for the Scarlet Crusade to rejoin the Alliance and give us that MORALLY GREYMANE that we’ve been asking for.

If the next expansion involves the Lich King again, that would be a perfect time to revive the Scarlet Crusade.

God, I miss Scarlet Crusade RP. Not this “oh we’re a reformed branch” crap, I mean real “burn the heretics” Scarlet RP.

I would love this, they could make it an Alliance only group that we have the option to join, give us choices like the Horde get it would be great!
