This current system is exposing the bad players who just wanted to global people in a fat crit with no chance of counterplay. Now PvP is a chess game that tests knowledge of your class and your individual skill. WoW is a tab target game with dice roll combat, it is not a reactionary real-time combat moba.
There is a reason TBC was by far the most succesful iteration of classic arena. Slower paced PvP has far more skill expression than reactionary combat due to the nature of how WoW combat works. People also enjoyed older versions of WoW because they were centered around setting up kill windows with good use of CC, unlike the boring cd trading and micro cc of modern WoW.
Keep resilience the way it is, don’t listen to the whiners hardstuck at 1200 that blame anything and anyone but themselves for their failures.

Let me ask you, how many bullets you think it takes in real life to take down someone then compare that to how it works in any shooter.

It’s high time to kill. CS GO is the only game that doesn’t have high time to kill.
No one would play a game where you instantly die with zero counter play. Especially in an MMO.
You will do more damage with conquest gear. Gear doesn’t add more resil so players will never get tankier but you will constantly do more damage over time.

I think resilience should be a stats on pvp gear rather than a flat 65% for everyone. I really hate template

Think it was so people just starting to pvp dont get nuked by fully geared pvpers.

Got ganked and got into an epic 10 minute fight with a paladin. We bowed and waved after it became clear neither of us would die. It was a good time.

65%? lol just another reason to stay 89 for Bgs. It’s only 55% below lvl 90. Even 55% is a bit high though.
The sweet spot was Cata, but ppl cried and demanded “their favorite pvp expansion, MoP”

I have a feeling you’re right and this will play out well once everyone has some conq pieces.
I feel like healer survivability is a bit too easy at the moment but…

It’s the LSDruid/hpal of mop, calling my shot here but depending on who is playing it will probably be the r1 team for at least 1 season maybe more
tbc was RNG laden hot garbage with most specs not even remotely viable in pvp

destroyed how? until the last season of mop Disc and holy in original mop were interchangeable.
