Sound advice this.

Only one I ever read was the tie-in for Cataclysm. Wasn’t terrible; I was just like, “nah, I ain’t reading books based on ongoing material anymore.” Always too fanfictiony and inconsistent.

That decision ultimately saved me from a lot of potential annoyance, particularly when the Revan tie-in dropped for SWTOR.
