that doesn’t mean the wow token brought in anything, im asking for evidence, numbers
there is no such thing as “wrath era”.
“era” is the title given to a classic server after its current classic expansion has been passed.
well, lets take a look at blizzcon activities, shall we?
- retail arena tournament
- retail mythic plus tournament
- retail raiding tournament
- 5 minutes given to the announcement of SoD
- multiple days given to the announcement of “War Within” and the “The World Soul Saga”, which are retail expansions.
So your evidence is Blizzard cramming failed e-sport tourneys in a convention they hold themselves?
“Thriving”
yes my evidence is the activities of blizzard.
blizzard is a company, it exists solely for the purpose of making money.
if blizzard spends money to put on retail tournaments (constantly btw, not just blizzcon - the Arena World Championship is being held right now), that shows that blizzard makes money from retail.
SoD never got any sort of attention from blizzard - blizzard just kind of tossed it at us and said, “enjoy!”.
Tell us you don’t understand exchange rates without telling us you don’t understand exchange rates.
What’s exchange rates have to do with my statement? If they go the way EQ did with Krono where it isn’t locked locally you would go to the cheapest source to obtain it. Since these bots deal in gold and not cash at this stage they can fund their bot accounts more efficiently. Then when they have fully funded accounts the gold they make is all profit to sell off.
Sorry.
I see I was wasting my time.
I just don’t think you realize what im saying. It isn’t a flat price across the board. Every TLP EQ did (their version of classic) the first Krono were obtained outside the TLP server already and sold for 100 plat where in other servers they were 10k plat and then steadily increased due to demand. Some people were happy to get a month’s time for that cheap and bought out the stock giving them years of playtime. Bots will do the same thing here.
You are correct.
I didn’t understand.
My apologies.

Address my previous post, you gormless and intellectually dishonest coward.

Why do you think Era+Seasonal servers are the only versions of WoW left without the Token? Do you not think Blizzard’s already done the cost-benefit analysis and determined that the loss in player retention among this particular demographic of players would be too great to outweigh the revenue they’d get from people like you?
why has classic era not gotten a new feature such as the wow token? here, let me answer that one for ya real quick, ok?
well era has not had a significant amount of players since like 2019, thus blizzard would be wasting time and resources by implementing the wow token on a game mode that almost no one plays.
Season of Discovery has been out since November, they just made a change to the game mode now with the GDKP restriction, so they are likely going to make more changes in the future… and these changes could very likely include implementing the wow token to the SoD servers.
they implemented the token to wotlk classic, why wouldn’t they put it in SoD?
Implying there’s really anything further to say about SoD other than…enjoy!
What, you expect deep dives about skills that were introduced 7 years ago and are now being added to Classic and what it’s going to mean? Or where they could potentially be located? Lmfao give me a break.
And stop pretending Blizzard is raking in big bucks with anything e-sports related. The only thing that’s even made money is StarCraft: Brood Wars and the growth and the continued relevance of that scene had absolutely nothing to do with Blizzard.
“Thriving”
if blizzard weren’t making large profits with their e-sports, they wouldn’t continue to do it.
lolno.

A tentative policy change which could be redacted in the next phase if it proves ineffective, and it was regarding an aspect of the game which a very large portion of the player base was complaining about.
Like I said in my previous post, the cost-benefit analysis was already done. The cost outweighed the benefit.
ok well answer this for me, ok?
if so many people were against GDKPs, then that means that almost no one was engaging in GDKPs, which would then mean that GDKPs would have zero effect on the economy.
but, GDKPs did have an effect on the economy, meaning that an overwhelmingly large majority of SOD players engaged with GDKPs.
so it would seem that an overwhelmingly large majority of SOD players support the GDKP.
so i’d like to say, enjoy the GDKP restriction while it lasts, my friend
Absolutely, I agree. I will be.
exactly, you should enjoy it for the short period that it lasts
I know, it’s about time they finally did this.
unfortunately, the large majority doesnt agree with you and this restriction is contingent on the majority of players continuing to agree with the restriction.
Affirming the consequent fallacy.
