…is because I can’t seem to remember who’s who, and I am likely to call people by their wrong WoW Names. If that has happened, please excuse me. I’m doing my best to remember who’s who, but it’s tough.
If this is on the launcher you will see an arrow on the upper right side you can click to expand the friends list wider.

Do what I do, add a note to that friend in your list. I can’t remember how I met people in game, so I set a note to remind me.
If you right click on the friend’s name you will see where you can SET FRIEND NOTE (denoted by red/black arrow).
Whatever you type when then appear on their hover popup (denoted by blue/back arrow).
I am using my own Battle Net accounts to illustrate this, hence why the note just says “me”.
