I don’t have enough bag space for PVP gear to make swopping between m+ and raid easy. Yes, it’s funny but true. And it’s kind of an issue.
Why do I think its a problem?
Regent bag is too small if I’m a crafter who has harvesting professions. There are 3 levels of almost every crafted item. This is a problem on a couple characters that went deeper into the new ZF zone and progressed farther in raid as well as crest farming.
What’s mainly in the bag now? The items include many essentials, but what seems to put me over the limit is the new zone currencies. On my tank I have multiple gear sets. Bags on my DPS toon I also multiple gearing options, because it’s a DPS toon. I have a few trinkets depending what spec I have to play. Crafting regents take up a lot of the space, new zone currencies, including crests, and pieces that form crests.
Because I raid as well as M+, I have feasts, pre potions, invisibility potions. Health Potions.
I’m tempted to make a PVP only toon, but then I have to level it.
If I collect full 447s for PVP, then I won’t have room when I go into the open world to loot grays or more crests, boes, etc.
The possible solutions I suggest are:
Larger Regent Bag, or eliminate multiple ranks of regents and crafted items.
Gear only bag next to regent bag, you can drag gear you aren’t currently equipping here to save it for later use, or to swop when out of combat.
Create a junk only bag, for quest items, grays, and boes, that also holds consumables. Basically items that you don’t need to keep around.
PVE consumables take up a ton of space. Especially if you have multiple specs with different stat prios. Then you have the multiple gear sets for each spec for raid, m+ and pvp. Then multiple extra trinkets that blizz could easily buff/nerf on any hotfix since that’s a huge part of player power now in pve. The gear frags + sparks take up 10 slots in your reagent bag as well. Then you have 3 hearthstones, gliders, and other misc stuff like the gnomish army knife. Also all the rep trophies and things.
I stay about 85% full with cleaned out bags and I don’t even craft.
Edit: I do want to add that I don’t think bag space is ultimately a valid reason for missing out on pvp. I do however think that using sparks on pvp gear vs pve gear makes it very challenging to do both content on a single toon. I wish they gave 2 completely different crafting currencies.
Yeah, I’ve just given up trying to keep my inventory organized this expansion. I have my Enhancement PvE gear, Enhancement PvP gear, variations on both for the two builds, plus my resto PvP and PvE gear (which thankfully crosses over with the Enhancement gear in a lot of ways). Then I have all my various crafting stuff, especially if I haven’t dropped everything in the regent bank, quest nonsense, artifact stuff for time walking, and my various consumables. There’s barely enough room for vendoring my greys D:
It drives me crazy buying 20000000 ore to prospect and have to sit here to click on a new stack after 200 crafts becauae the system wont just simply move on to the next stack.
But if i get the mats to make 2000000 stonecrust, i can just hit craft all and go make a sandwich.
Yes, until the 11th. Timewalking (wod) on the 4th. Also the rep buff affects most if not all old reps and people have been using it wrap up stuff like insane in the membrane, etc.
I stopped opening those stupid whelp bags. Who tf thought that was a good PvP reward. Literally nothing to spend that stuff on. Same with flightstones. Been capped on them since the first week.
