lol in battlegrounds we look for the “benediction factor”. If we have a ton of bene players in a wintergrasp it’s a loss. If we’re up against a bunch of benediction players it’s an ez clap. I’m not saying all bene players suck just the vast majority. Go to grobbulus or any other server and ask in trade chat how we feel about benediction
No, I hate gdkps because it further causes the proliferation of bots.
Some servers have such an immense bot problem that you can’t get quests done because they spam camp the npcs. GL beating a script. Or how about the vendor bots? Or the bots spam reporting people to trigger bans?
If you’ve ever had an actual interaction with a gold farmer, they are hostile as hell because its their livelihood at stake. They’d burn your house down to make a buck.
If gdkps didn’t tempt people into buying more gold to stay on top, I wouldn’t care.

So by paying for cash shop only items you had a massive advantage over other players.
Usually, people need many pieces of gear in each raid tier.
They buy gold and use it for each of the items.
The example you have created to avoid reality, isn’t real nor representative of reality.
So then every game is pay 2 win for you.
You have no advantage over anyone else who doesnt buy gold.
Everyone has access to the items your buying, and the access is free.
Pay 2 win means youre getting items that you have to spend money on, which is like i said from mobile games.
When you fought other players you had an advantage because you had cash shop items VS free players.
Hence the “winning” part.

No it isn’t. They can only get the item in that raid if they have more gold than the RMT folks. Which will never happen.
It is awesome how you all concede that people are buying massive amounts of gold for GDKPs, at least. This is a change from a week ago.
And comparing the different raid systems and saying that is the same level of “access” is about as dumb as could possibly be conceived
You have said this yourself: GDKPs streamline the looting timeline. This is why people buy gold. This is why GDKPs exist. If this didn’t exist, this wouldn’t be happening.
But it is.
I’m not going to argue this, you can easily go to any server and see how we feel about bene players yourself. My point is: Benediction is the perfect example of how gdkp culture has a negative influence on classic wow as a whole. Bene players pay to win and therefore don’t have even a basic understanding of how the game works. They get carried in gdkps, get a 6k+ gearscore and are terrible players that the rest of us won’t group with. We’d rather sit out our debuff for leaving a random heroic. Grats on your pay to win rankings, the rest of us don’t care and don’t want to play with your server
I’ve never had a good time with Benediction players and they all suck, can vouch.

LOL I have been in many random heroics where they were super excited to see Grobb players and asked about wpvp and said they wish their guild would transfer there. You’re one of those elitist gdkp apologists who refuse to accept the fact that the rest of the game despises your server. It’s where bad players go who can’t get gear on a real server.
Yea sadly the server transfers ruined Pagle too.

It’s like you’re actively ignoring the fact that the majority of GDKPs contain people who buy gold illicitly or the pot at the end is from gold that was illicitly bought and then it trickles into the economy.
When you can just buy gold and sit around and wait for a drop and make more gold from showing up and not getting the item so when it does drop you can inflate the pot even higher win or lose.
It’s a system that reduces the pool of available raiders, inflates the cost of BOEs, and creates the gold farmers to run bots to gain more gold which lowers available materials/mobs for those of us who abide by the rules. The only upside to GDKP is that you can gear an alt with 0 effort, but that also has the downside of never learning to properly play the class.
