The real reason you hate GDKPS

Um you cant level up a mage, gear him out to boost, then boost a 2nd character in 2 hours.

Are you really this slow?

But in this case there is competition. You see Person B only bought 500gold while person C bought 1000g now Person B doesent get any items and it was pretty inconvenient now to go out of his way to buy that gold.

Did you really take some imaginary example numbers I came up with and try to disregard the entire point? I gotta spell everything out around here I guess.

Lets say me and a friend both have our characters to 25. same class same gear same everything. We both say lets level up a second character from fresh. Me being a non broke person irl boots up a separate account and then I boost myself in X hours. My friend who is broke doesent get a second account and levels up the regular way and it takes him 2X hours. Replace X with whatever number you want. I know math is hard for you so if you need to let me know what X is and I will calculate it for you.

You had to level up a character to be able to boost with, which isnt convenient.

You are really bad at this.

Bro…

This is honestly something being said by a person in real life?! No way…

How…

Really…

Dear god

Thats not the part that is convenient? Keep air ballin son you might hit a shot eventually.
The convenient part is me paying for another account and leveling up twice as fast? in your ridiculous example it was inconvenient for that guy to level up to get into the raid as well i guess lmfao.

If person B has more gold than person a, that is pay to win/convenience.

The more gold you have the more you win.

Glad you understand

You cant have convenience of boosting without going through the inconvenient part of leveling a character to boost with.

You def wear velcro shoes.

Chatgpt has already proven you wrong man sorry. Take it up with the AI.

  1. I have enough gold to get by and buy what I need when I need it typically.
  2. I have 2 tanks at 25 with fairly decent gear. Paladin is pushing 2k HP and Warlock has a few items thus far.
  3. When items are mass produced like consumables, it can drive the price down if more is produced than needed and with a 3 day reset, you can plan out paying for less probably in day 2, but not always the case if everyone is buying at the same time. The problem is the stuff that isn’t abundant. When people have illicit gold and can buy anything without a thought then the prices will skyrocket. There are blues that are going for 50g+ on the AH. I saw a dude trying to sell high level +damage pants for P2 that “will be raid pre-bis” for over 100g. I’m not saying it isn’t impossible to have that amount of gold legitimately, but it’s likely that anyone buy those is doing so with illicit gold.

BOEs should be the only thing you should be able to sell from a raid imo. I’ve been in a handful of GDKPs since my guild was doing them in BC to fund our Sunwell and once on accident during Wrath while gearing my warlock. I hated every second of each GDKP as it felt so unethical selling items to people who barely, or don’t, participate in the fights. They didn’t earn it. They didn’t have to try to learn the fights or wipe on a boss that took hours/days/weeks to overcome.

It bothers me because it defeats the entire purpose of raiding when you can just buy items that drop. Raiding is most fun with a good group of guildies imo. When the group is actively working to learn the fights, get geared, and help each other out. GDKPs are antithetical to what raiding is about.

Granted, this is my views on it. I just avoid them all together and look for guilds that align with what I expect out of a raiding experience or pugs that do.

I hate gdkps because really bad players buy gear without ever learning their class or game mechanics

I accept your defeat.

Take care dont bump your head anymore.

Watching people in full epics with the best gear at the bottom of the list of the meters is always something to behold.

Homie, not to burst your AI bubble, but the response clearly indicates that AI thinks GDKPs are pay to win. They just don’t make the game exclusively pay to win.

But if GDKPs were the only raid system, the game would be pay to win, per the AI response

Gdkp in itself isnt bad, but its pretty much an open secret theyre largely funded by gold buyers, which isnt cool.

Tbh, i dont understand the thought process. Why are you spending real tangible money on imaginary currency.

Yeah no, it’s the opposite. Grobbulus players leave random heroics if a Benediction player is in it because we know there’s a huge chance that they can’t play their class and won’t know mechanics

Benediction is factually a far better server.

Look at pve logs and prog and look at pvp rankings.

Youre trolling.

lol, no, go to any sever and watch all the complaints about benediction players being clueless gdkp drones who roll need on every drop and can’t play their class

Buying gear everyone else may get for free is pay 2 win?

You buying 50k gold cuz you want a sword.

Sword never drops in your raid.

You paid 2 win?

While others walk around with the same sword you bought 50k gold for and they got it for free.

Yall really sad with these definitions.

Paying to win is buying something you can only buy with real money.

Buying gold doesnt influence drops, typically when youre playing a p2w game you buy it off the cash shop of the game and dont even need to raid to get it…

Imagine thinking buying gold, then forming a raid, then doing the same raid and bosses everyone else is doing but then your item doesnt drop is some how pay 2 win.

Its literally a fact Benediction is a better server lmfao.

We have more people killing heroic LK, we have better pvpers.

We beat you guys in both pvp and pve.

You can say that there are bad players here which is true of all servers.

Our top end smokes your server and the data is all there.

We literally have double your Heroic LK kills.

This is where you have landed to dance around the point?

Rough.
