Problem is many of the biggest buyers are streamers, and Blizzard has basically surrendered to streamers, likely since they calculate the marketing is cheaper. The whole thing comes from bad culture and leadership at Blizzard and a total lack of integrity.
Ban every drug in the world. Come back in 6 months when anyone who needed a drug to stay alive is dead because they didnt get the drugs needed to survive. At least the people who were abusing the drugs are still gucci and are just goin through withdrawals.
I’d be down with banning gold buyers, sellers, and bots (who are normally the sellers anyways).

Gold buyers= people who are illegally using drugs and dont need them
GDKP= drugs
If you ban all the people illegally using drugs why do you also need to ban the drugs? This wouldnt be very productive as anyone who needs those drugs to survive would die?
Lets take his quote and just change it for the sake of proving another point. “Ban GDKP’s and dont ban gold buying/selling and then bring back GDKP’s in 6 months” So here you got rid of the drugs but not any of the people who were using them illegally still killing off innocent people who needed those drugs and the people commiting the crime(gold buyers) are essentially untouched.
This never made any sense because I said explicitly to ban gold buyers on first offense. A perma ban.
Do this for 6 months while the bots dry up. GDKPs can exist in a fairly healthy way, now

So RMT activities like gold buying, selling, boosting, and GDKP prey on those with addiction issues, and thus rather than police those activities, it is better to remain status quo and let those with addiction issues continue to suffer?

If there are no gold buyers or sellers, why do you need to ban GDKP for 6 month or “let the bots dry up” the bots would be worthless the moment you actually got rid of buyers and sellers. That makes zero sense?
Because in the meantime, the GDKPs will still largely function on the backs of gold buyers. You need that time for them to disappear so that the gold in the raids is legitimate. You don’t want that RMT gold in circulation.
Without that, you are making the game worse.

No seriously help me understand. So you are saying that basically there is illegal gold floating around after buyers and sellers have been banned. So you want 6 months for that gold to “disappear”. Disappear to where? It never goes away bud. The only perfect way to do what you are getting at would be a gold reset for EVERYONE, OR to track every single copper that came from an illegal GDKP gold buyer/seller.

The bans are not instantaneous, my dude. It isn’t as if “BOOM!” all buyers are gone. It will take time to reduce their numbers.
The bots will then follow.

Have to disable them in the meantime. GDKPs can and should exist in a world in which RMT is controlled and prohibited.
Until that world exists, GDKPs destroy the game.
