If they re released a mage tower equivalent right now, the new player still wouldn’t be able to obtain the appearance from completing the challenge because of the difficulty level
They can get all the other artefact appearances if they want. Those 4 specific skins, which are becoming rarer as more people quit the game, is like a whoa factor that’ll inspire new players to get better so they can complete challenges and be leet when they come around again

Maybe take a step back and understand how limited time stuff works in video games. You don’t seem to be able to formulate an argument, so you instead threaten people and lash out with even more dramatic responses. That’s all on you, not me.
I never said it was fact. I’m simply arguing against your opinion and I dislike when people try to use the “new player” argument.

can you say for one hundred percent certain that a new player wouldn’t start playing the game because they seen something that looked cool and it could very well be one of those items?
I’ve seen people start playing games for less.
So a person can’t be logical or normal if they challenge why something in a make believe world needs to be exclusive when the hardest content in the game (mythic raids) has their gear handed out each expansion after?
As I’ve seen people start playing games for less I’ve also seem them quit for just as much.
You seem to be giving lots of advice like this.
Are you in the medical field or something where you can say for certain that someone isn’t normal or logical if they don’t think as you do?
You say people must have some serious issues if they’re passionate about an item no longer obtainable and claim to know that new players wouldn’t know such items exist. When there is a possibility that the hundreds of thousands of wow videos out there could possibly bring them in due to an item or something else they might see within it.
Just trying to get an understanding to how you think and I’m not trolling here. Based on what you’ve said that because I don’t actually view limited times rewards as a way to feel special.
I am not normal nor logical.
I have serious (I’ll assume mental issues) because I’m apparently obsessed over a single item that fits into an incomplete set.
I need to reevaluate things in my life because the possibility of people quitting over transmog among many other small things is simply not possible.
Did I get that all or did I miss something?

everyone should relax. Remember, this is a topic that players feel very passionate about on both sides, so there’s going to be a little bit of emotion attached to some of these opinions 
I want to share another reason I think exclusive items are cool based on my own experience though.
I often get whispers in game from players asking me about where I got a certain item/mount/title/etc. It usually turns into a small conversation about where I got said things, how long i’ve been playing, how to get them, etc.
Do you know why I get whispered? Because I’m unique and stand out.
I’m advocating for giving all players that opportunity…when you start giving everyone the same thing, it feels like the tree mount they just gave us with shadowlands recently. Not cool in the slightest.
I don’t think limited time items will ever come back, but, I think they often add recolors/reskins to make up for it, which is fine to me too. I didn’t get the puff kitten from Legion, and I missed out on the WOD challenge stuff too…but I don’t get upset or jealous when I see a player holding the Book staff…i’m more amazed tbh lol

They can work towards all of the other pixels. Blizz starts going back on their “limited time” stuff, then why even trust anything they say anymore?

False equivalency. Elite PvP and Challenge PvE are limited time. Raids have always always always been around consistently. Challenge Mode and Elite have always always always been limited time.
LOL I highly doubt a new player who payed for their sub and their expansion is going to suddenly go up in arms quit over one appearance.
It’s not advice. It’s telling people to step back and understand the larger perspective of why limited time in games works, and why it works in commercialism, and why one appearance isn’t the end of the world if they don’t have it.
This is what we call gaslighting right here. You aren’t part of this conversation. Kindly stop taking things out of context and twisting them.

Well, if the gnome is gone, we have peace at last.
I get wisps often of where I got my bear form (MT skin). All it does is make me sad that ppl can’t work towards it anymore. If ppl can’t work towards those colors/forms again I would hope, at least, they could work towards new similar skins.

I’m capable of understanding limited time, why it’s good and saying “I didn’t get it, that’s okay, I respect and am happy for those who did get it.”

The real reason I don’t want timewalking Mage Tower is that I want a new iteration with new appearances and new challenges. Happy to trade in AP which is rubbish and grindy.

You do understand that plenty of people before they get into games actually watch videos on said games to determine if they want to right? I watch videos on games I haven’t played yet to see if I would be willing to invest and I’ve seen plenty of things that have made me pull the trigger on getting a game via videos.
I’ll assume based on your reaction that you must not do things like this for you to be so insistent that the possibility is simply not there. If I’m mistaken, please correct me.
I’ll concede this point as I forgot about the top 0.1% of the player base that does high end pvp. However, I don’t really compare things like the very best players in the world competing at an insane high level that 99.9% of the player base will never achieve to someone doing a 1 on 1 fight with an npc with readable actions for a transmog. I understand that when comparing the two that both are considered exclusive, but the difference in skill required to do both tasks is vastly different in every single way.
Either way, you are correct.

Can you say without a shadow of a doubt that nobody has nor will they ever quit over an appearance. Keep in mind you recently said that people who don’t think like you have mental issues so the possibility is there is it not?
Telling someone that they may want to reevaluate some things if they don’t share your views is absolutely giving advice in my opinion, maybe I’m wrong though. But it certainly sounds like you’re advising others to reevaluate their lives so that they may better understand your position.

One could take away from what you said that the person may have mental issues because they don’t view this subject the same way you do. By all means correct me with what you were really trying to say, but looking at that sentence it points towards OCD which is a mental disorder.
You may not of said it, but the sentence points towards it and some people may find that offensive like the guy who is currently mad at you for saying it. I was simply pointing it out and saying what plenty of people would think. I don’t care that you said it, I just understand that people are different and as such you’re gonna get different results.
You are free to ignore me as is your right on this forum. But I’d like to point out again that this is a public forum for all players of the game and you cannot say that someone is not part of the conversation just because they don’t agree with your views.
