I mean your words are simply hollow. You can flex this “seething” comment all you’d like. I’m posting on a main retail character that speaks well enough for it’s own. In classic I will clear all content and be BiS every iteration. I will also do my Mara Flask farm runs…my ZG bijou farms, and all of my other runs and make another 75,000 in raw gold along with boe epic drops. This doesn’t hurt me friendo. I barely participated in GDKPs in the previous classic iteration. I’m just not dense enough to think banning it has somehow helped anything. In fact it’s done the exact opposite.

Ive said this before: Not all GDKPers are RMTers, but all RMTers are GDKPers. And enough GDKPers are RMTers that non-RMT GDKP runners are an extreme minority. Whats more, you know exactly where the gold is coming from and your morality is for sale so long as it remains profitable to you to look the other way. Youre willing to be bought off. Which makes you a willing accessory to every negative impact that GDKP and RMT have across a server’s economy.
You are every bit as guilty as the people buying the gold.
This is literally the pot calling the kettle black for everyone that is literally on fresh servers GOUGING auction house prices.
You all know where the gold is coming from…doesn’t it just make you feel better having the an auction house middle man?

Why do you think theyre price gouging in the first place? Its because they know RMTers and GDKPers have bought gold laying around and they want a piece of it.
The hilarious part is, about 75% of the time those prices are posted BY THE SAME PEOPLE SELLING GOLD SO THAT THEY CAN SELL IT BACK TO YOU AGAIN.
My point is…does that stop YOU from selling at higher prices?

Blizz has said this. And getting worse? It’s so much better than any version with GDKPs. Whatever gold buying exists right now would be exponentially worse with GDKPs. Kind of goes without saying when you’re talking about the biggest reason players bought gold. Obviously not the only, but the biggest.

No, I’m having a great time actually. I find great entertainment in toying with illogical people. And it just so happens that pro-gdkp posters are the most illogical people on the forums.
I’m also really enjoying watching how alts are being used to Like those pro-gdkp posts. Nothing new there either.

I wonder how many players just made a mage and farm thousands of gold to buy whatever they want. Auction house gurus and mage farmers are the rich people, lol.

It’s a hell of a lot easier to flag each of those purchases and investigate those players to see if they bought gold and ban them now that GDKP’s are banned.
Banning GDKP’s is a great step that prevents players who RMT and buy gold from just buying the best items in the game.
Now there’s like 3-5 items they can use that RMT gold on, and it’s a hell of a lot easier to identify them and ban them.
Banning GDKP’s is a great step, more needs to be done, but let’s not pretend like it isn’t a massive positive that gold buyers can only buy those select few items instead of all of the best items in the game period.
