The Real Problem With The Maw, And The Solution

World PvP has always come with extra risk. We didn’t have bonuses or incentives for being on PvP realms, and we don’t need it now.

Anima, and stygia (stygia is effected by WM) are directly tied to rewards, cosmetics, and power. They should absolutely not be effected by Warmode. Just like Azerite and AP shouldn’t have been either.

This undermines factions and is completely counter intuitive.

That isn’t racial profiling. That’s the point behind factions. Don’t go looking for zebras in Central Park if you hear hooves.

Honestly it also promotes a specific form of gameplay that is advantageous which is not something I agree with.

I absolutely agree that it would be an interesting concept for an MMO, however I don’t believe it fits WoW.
Bring out a new MMO where there is a more warband, less faction based form of gameplay and I would be down to play it, but that is something that needs to be a core design aspect of the game to really be functional.

You can say you don’t need it, but this is an MMO that is grindy, time-gated, and charges a sub fee besides. People want to get bang for their effort buck. I did nothing but play on PvP servers so I understand your point, but it’s pretty much either WM remains like this, they make it a free for all, or they literally kill WPvP, which might be fine with you, but Blizzard apparently wants to keep it alive. We’re going to be forever stuck with this half-measure stalemate as long as the playerbase is this divided over it.

In war-mode; they need to design bases, player location, grave yard locations better with “war” in mind. There are probably several other good changes players could mention.

Get rid of the bonus’s. They are so crap now and do not add hardly anything.

It just needs to be polished. Right now it can be an unforgiving turd. But hey it’s war.

And don’t be mad at getting farmed in the maw. This is just payback for BFA.

If you read the OP, I am not mad about that, and make it clear in my second statement that I genuinely do not care about that. I care about the obvious sharding issue preventing people from mounting up a counter attack which has been also reported by other people in this thread experiencing the same thing, and I care that stygia is effected by WM and is a percentage based loss when killed in the Maw. A currency directly tied to player power has never been lost before due to death in PvP, and it should not be lost in PvP now.

In BFA, if Alliance or Horde died, they lost nothing other than a little bit of time. They did not lose AP, or something like coalescing visions. Dying (from either faction) should not cause a loss in stygia.

Awww, aren’t you just the cutest little thing? So Very Determined to be Right?

The sharding is absolutely atrocious.

I tried to get a group together to fight back and nearly everyone that joined was in a different shard so nothing could happen.

Eventually Horde took over and started to counter-camp (because of course they did), and guess what, they got randomly sharded out for no reason at one point.

The sharding is a joke.

No it’s an advantage, and if more and more horde who think like me toggle off, the advantage will be given to horde over alliance. So I toggle off.

How many alliance would form raid groups to camp flight paths, teleporters, etc. if you didn’t get 500 anima from a weekly quest?

You still didn’t answer my question. Did you actually read the original post?

In what way is it an advantage. Does the buff give them more damage? Does it make the better? No. All it does is give an incentive. Makes it enticing to turn it on for more reward.

Keep crying though.

Don’t have to answer your post. Lot more fun to watch you continue to persist in pedanticly flip your wig over some moot point, when you’re so very wrong about the part that matters.

Ah. I see. So you didn’t read the post, and don’t have an actual constructive comment to discuss the actual sharding issue, or the solutions proposed. Ok.

Have a good one.

None of them, almost all the Alliance people that use warmode use it for the 30% bonus and freebie quests then shut it off so they keep getting it and they admit to it openly and they wonder why no one outside of “those” types of people want to play that side with them.

So why should I turn it on then? I will get more rewards later if I leave it off. It is an advantage, you trying to change the definition of a word doesn’t make it not so.

Incentive
noun

  1. something that incites or tends to incite to action or greater effort, as a reward offered for increased productivity.

Advantage
noun

  1. a condition or circumstance that puts one in a favorable or superior position.

Who’s the one trying to change the definition here?
There is no advantage. It’s incentive. I’m right BY definition. Get over it, cow.

He like any other Alliance likes his free handouts you are basically wasting your time trying to argue with him or pretty much any other Alliance about them only doing warmode because of the bonus and handouts.

They reported my first post as “Trolling” lol
Not trolling just speaking the truth 🤷

We might disagree on opinions but I didn’t even read your first post when I first replied to this post but lol it’s not really flaggable so mod will read it and unhide it so don’t worry about it.

The issue is mounting and it’s not a scary fear inducing zone
It’s just annoying and bland

You’re not wrong there, but as with all things I do on the forums I can’t really waste my time if I do it while pooping.
