Exploiting the dynamics of wpvp is one thing, but ranking #1 in battleground will be quite different. Yes you need to play a ton. I know this because I got Rank 14 in battlegrounds back in vanilla, and you probably didnât, so youâre talking out of your rear end.
I predict there will be much more complaints once battlegrounds actually release and the non-P server crowd starts finding out just how hard it is to even get rank 11.
I do not have time to play even 12 hours a day 7 days a week, so no this isnât about me getting R14 (again). I have no wish to see other people abused by a system that once abused me.
Welcome to PvP competition in Video games, if you strive to be the very best, you have to work to keep your very best. Even unhealthy amount of times.
The person who plays the most isnât typically the best, theyâre just the most pitiful person in the game. The very word competition is associated with skill, and the R14 system isnât skill based because it lacks time constraints.

You are right that simply time doesnât equal skill, but it is reasonable to assume in order to climb up the ranks, you need to invest a lot of time into it and need skill for it, which can take time in itself to obtain.
My wording was weird there, the best at pvping.

sorry buddy, time and time again it is proven that this system rewards ACCOUNT SHARERS. That is all. Anyone who isnât account sharing is not going to get rank 14, unless they are Lynx Titan level of insanity. It is a completely broken system.
Account sharing is dat authentic vanilla wow experience. I had a friend who shared his account and even told blizzard that because he wanted to transfer characters from one account to another to start his own account and they allowed it

I donât PvP âŚmuch or ever, but in the event if i ever do want to pvp to that level, i want to be sure i get the correct impression of this whole grinding to rank 14 thing.

If players think R14 grind is worth it more then their health etc. Thatâs their fault, so let them suffer in the end.
