The problem about Plunderstorm isn't that it's bad

This is usually what happens but at the same time you have to understand that not everyone is a NEET and can afford to play 24/7. And for the given reward, which was EXTREMELY requested during BfA, this is offensive against longtime players.

If you don’t mind. What about people who don’t no life it like us, and just casually do each daily and a couple of matches and wait for the next day, would it be so bad for them?

also what’s a NEET? Does it mean pretty good at the game? cause i’m trash xD

This should be the norm but even then that’s an expectation.

I know friends who can’t even play games because they have children now. The perfect gamer for Blizzard is a NEET though, as mean as it sounds. Someone, who can leech their life away in a video game.

It is easy to level up in Plunderstorm but we’ll see how many people will Renown 40 within the next few weeks. I made it from 2 to 11 in three hours at a weekend, so I’m confident I’ll reach the transmog set within the next three weeks.

From Wikipedia:

A NEET, an acronym for “Not in Education, Employment, or Training”, is a person who is unemployed and not receiving an education or vocational training.

The reason I got upset on my first match was cuz it was not explained in game that you can dodge out of the way of an enemies attack. I figured, since it was a WoW property, the combat would act like WoW, as in the NPC would target you and land all the shots, so i just stood there like a lump on a log.

Had I known, I would not have been as upset. Same with how the bird works.

I am the definition of that, and I still suck. Also, i hate that phrase. It sounds patronizing. :dracthyr_tea:

Does the American system not offer sponsoring for free education or training opportunities? Like a paid college course, like ICDL Advanced courses?

If so, then you have no real reason to sit around. I do this all the time for further job qualifications. It’s like a grind, only in RL. And it pays off.

I am disabled. But hey, thanks for insinuating I am uneducated.

That’s no excuse. Most of the courses are online, too. Get something done which interests you.

Maybe I’m outside the norm but my IRL friends consist of mostly gamer couples. We got two bubs so far in the gang but more are coming!

Has it impacted gaming for the mothers? Yes, especially the ones that work. Took till the end of season for one of them to hit KSM. They haven’t touched Plunderstorm.

But I can guarantee not only can you have a great job and still smash out something like Plunderstorm, just need to have an understanding partner or someone who games alongside you so you can talk and play.

I definitely concur that WoW used to be the kind of game that attracted NEETs but it’s evolved.

If it didnt have any rewards for WoW maybe people wouldn’t.

I have no idea what you are talking about with that lol. I spent 8 hours today and got 14-22, which equates to an hour per level. Was ending multiple matches in the 800-900 range and a few upwards of 1,200.

Why don’t they have OCE servers? Cause they don’t care about true fair PVP and just want to cater towards the try hards with all the rest of us acting as cannon fodder

That’s the simple truth. Without rewards, yes a few people might play but everyone getting trampled on wouldn’t

You are just mad that I have the Polly Roger on two accounts already.

there is not a single retail wow fomo reward that is locked behind 40 levels of a renowned grind, which will take the average player weeks to attain, unless you are playing 8-12 hours per day, in which case will still take you a week. none. the closest fomo related to a grind outside of retail is wotlk classic “create a dk and complete the starting area” which takes literally 10-20mins.

this is a whole new low for blizzard. cant wait to see the next new low from them.

It’s the zombified Wow version of the Hunger Games.

Why would I care about you?

I would say the closes grind to this was the dino mount. People still complain about it to this day YET we had a year to save up the 5 mill.

But then they’d have to come up with other excuses to make redundant threads.

Yeah. Even if I wanted to participate, (I don’t lol) I wouldn’t have the time to get that much renown. I’m not available often enough for something that’s temporary like this.

well both me and my wife run our own business and because it is online we are home on wow most of the time. and since tuesday we played between 6-10 hours per day and as of this morning we are renowned 38. today we will get the last 2 renowned so it is safe to say it will take on average 1 week to hit 40 if you played on average 56-70 hours.

i mean honestly we have no problem with plunderstorm. we really dont. we hate every game that is not wow. wow is all we play. our problem is that they locked a ton of wow rewards behind this totally different game. we collect everything wow. we are hardcore completionists so we feel compelled to do this as our hobby. so not only do we have to stop playing wow until we attain these rewards, we have to play a totally different game to attain these rewards that we both hate and will never pick up and play again.
