When cata was released it had dungeons that you had to pull slowly and use strategy and cc. The pro RDF people could not handle this and flooded blizz with feedback that they just wanted to aoe everything in a dungeon with no chance of dying like wotlk. Blizzard caved to them.
Pro RDF people literally ruined wow and turned it into shadowlands.
Please do not listen to these people. They do not have good intentions.
Pro RDF people do not actually enjoy playing. They just play to get things. Not for fun.

Your examples are not even remotly in the same league and makes them not remotly comparable.
Changing the difficulty of the instance itself is quite a bit diffrent than allowing everyone equal chance to get into a group.
Many of the pro RDF players you are complaining about are the SAME people asking for buffs not nerfs unlike you claim.
Pro RDF players are asking for a feature that was in the game version we are meant to be getting and allowing equal access to 5 mans. As we all know without RDF if your not “meta” your not getting into a group. In fact this vary point puts the pro RFD players EXACTLY opposite to the people you are talking about as the people wanting to just aoe down a instance want to make there own group and hand pick who gets in. In turn allowing them to have a “meta” comp and aoe down with max efficiency. Your points are talking about literally the exact opposite people as each other.

Umm…necrotic wake is a slow pull dungeon for levelers. its where they will be many times. its the only dungeon till 53. So SL went back to cata…in lfd.
also needs CC. or else that gauntlet of trash mobs to boss 2 gets real ugly. Fear happens…alot.
PLaguefall you need to LOS the boss 2 behind the hills and kill the adds right side first at least. otherwise this place goes to crap fast in leveling.
HOA druids and hunter need to soothe/tranq the bears. gets ugly otherwise.
Priest need to limit mob vision. rogues shroud. for skips and to offset bad things.
if you are getting crews who don’t do this and muscle it…I feel bad for you. Muscle works…adds way too much time though really.
Heroic? lets not go there. even I casual “scrub” that I am is 260 pvp stats on chars. the dungeons are made for 150(?). steamroll happens at this point.

Thats the same logic people had with TBCC. There is definitely a crowd willing to play Cata even if we like it or not. It might not be as big as the classic, tbc, or wotlk crowd but its definitely there.
In a sense youre right, in a way RDF ruined WoW for some. It gave bad players a false illusion that they were good at the game and then cata difficulty heroics gave them a reality check. Although that has nothing to do with RDF itself, instead its just bad players being bad
I wasn’t a fan of RDF back in the original run of the game days, but today’s general community is so different & so awful/unfriendly/elitist in comparison that LFG channel & pugging without it is a no-go for me. So, sticking to my guild for my tanking, healing & dps group play.

I have no issue with Cata Classic being a thing as long as we have WotLK Era servers too. And yes, there should also be TBC Era servers.

Its probably one the most hated timewalking in retail too. even for the LFG spamming mythic folks lol
legion is liked more. and that has helya maw of souls. she makes water holes if stepped in…instant death. Expect at least 2 dead when this phase hits every time. You will never be disappointed really.
even 2 manning her when 3 people died…is better than a cata timewalk week.
I loved Cata dungeons. My DK was full T10 and yet they were still challenging.

I’m pro-RDF and one of the reasons I quit in Cata was because of the dungeon nerf. However, the dungeons were overtuned for sure (at least early), and even with gear one shot mechanics still one shot, along with other problems that pulled back from, “bring the player, not the class”.
It’s Blizzard’s fault they went to the extreme opposite of Wrath heroics, not the players’.

Those hard dungeons are the best. The ICC 5 mans and troll dungeons added late content.
