Wrath babies, btw, was about people who wanted more badges for everything. Badges were introduced in TBC, and were not even unique to wrath. Stop giving yourself awards. You’re not special.
It was a stupid term then and it still is now. I’d probably beat the pants off most of you “og” players and I’m a “wrath baby”.
I’m pro rdf and against lfr.
Dungeons are not raids. Raids require group preparation, voice chat and group composition. Dungeons require aoe which I won’t even have until lvl 80.

Absolutely. One gathers they’re also tanks and healers because their experience is one of being desperately needed for dungeons
… completely forgetting that rdf used to have queue times for the rest of us and we’d do dailies in the meantime. Like it wasn’t perfect by any means for DPS but it was something.
wotlk didnt have people running reserved loot parties or garbage af GDKP scam rings. Seems like the classic andys vigorously defending not having this tool in the game just want it gone so that they can keep exploiting the crap out of the community for gold and loot, something that they should be banned for imo. They probably wouldve banned them for being gold scammers back in original wraith. This toxic filth has taken over LFG and turned it into their own 3 ring scammer circus. If you think having the only party options being available all being ‘pay us gold to play the game’ parties is a good or healthy thing for the community, then youre contributing to making this a bad game for everyone else
Been playing since original beta, WotLK had the RDF. I want the RDF because it was in the game at the time. Now would be better but when ICC drops that works too.
The content is fun, and I want to play it. And I don’t want the effort required to access the content to be more work than the content itself. You want to play chat spam simulator go for it.
RDF is classic WOTLK. not even a debate. Was literally the focus of wraths initial launch.

RDF is only used while leveling in retail. At max level every dungeon group is formed manually with the group finder you now have in classic, people fly to the dungeon, summon, and start the dungeon.
Maybe 5% of all dungeon runs in retail happen through RDF.

You can’t RDF into max level content (mythic dungeons or normal and above raids) so nope. Just the classic crowd being very weird and wrong.

LFD is still used quite extensively. When I checked last night, queue time as a DPS was 5 minutes. That is no way indicative of it being dead at level cap.
It awards worse gear than world content from last patch. Only people using it would be people leveling from 50-60 which you can queue into at max level because there’s nobody doing it besides levelers.
I queued for a Heroic as a level 60 dps and the queue time was 5 minutes.

Hm. Not sure what incentive anyone has to queue heroics right now. Maybe I’m sheltered from it because I haven’t done them since early 9.0, but have done probably 1000 m+ since then.
Hc gear is worse than world quest gear or the vendor catch up crap. Weird that anyone would queue it for any reason.
People aren’t running them for the gear outside disenchanting I am sure… but Callings and whatnot still exist.
I still run them anytime a bribe bag pops up. EZ gold.
