Can we please look into the prepull mechanics? Warlock is the most ridiculous with it but then theres shamans and there was rogues using mastery sets but now there is the item circle of flame from BRD that can be used to proc trinkets before a pull to cheese extra damage and if this can’t be addressed in cataclysm can we atleast get rid of this nonsense for MOP?

Circlet of Arcane Might is a better option for the helm, and dont forget about Shattered Sun Pendant of Acumen for your neck. Also, get Hyjal/ICC rep ring.
they are using circle of flame to preproc +2000 agi icd trinkets then taking them off but the buff stays, that’s not possible with arcane might

The 100% mop crit trinket if thats what you are referring to you didn’t prepop that. I’m fine with trinket mechanics during the fights I just think its ridiculous to compete we have to still use stuff like tier 6 and mastery sets pre pull.

This seems pretty normal for the expansion that introduced mastery, also whats wrong with old items still being useful? This isn’t retail.
I’m using Hellfire to proc SSV with 3278 mastery, so I don’t need some way to proc my trinkets on a warlock. The helm, rings, neck work great. Never mind other things like staff dancing and trinket swapping.
Yeah prepull nonsense is pretty annoying. It’s also entirely unnecessary to clear the content, so, you could just, you know…not bother with it? I promise no one important is going to care if you parse 87 instead of 93

Specifically in him not needing the crown to proc trinkets, yes, its not about warlocks.
Compete for what? For some clout that 99.999% of the people dont care about on some 3rd party site? The important question are bosses dying? If so then why do you care?

This “prepull” stuff is only “necessary” for parsing, not for clearing content, not even full Heroic.
If you are serious about parsing, you’ll do it. If you don’t care like most of us, you won’t. But it’s not something Blizzard needs to fix because it’s not necessary to do. They have so many more important bugs to fix first.
