The plot for 10.2 is so bad

Can I agree with you that the story was bland while thinking most of your points and the way you expressed them was kinda dumb?

I think that’s where I’m landing.

Fyrakk was a big scary crazy/psychotic dragon that wanted to burn Azeroth down. The direction the story went was a bit odd cause I thought we were supposed to have pity on these dragons that were left out of the dragon club. All in the name of titans aren’t who you think they are, but then Fyrakk does what he does and Iridikron vanishes after his team goes sideways.

A lot of us know we’ll see Iridikron likely in the last expansion anyway. And now we have I guess Xal’atah who wants to use the powerful trinket Iridrikon stole from the past to change/corrupt Azeroth to her will I guess to use for whatever reason. Then to usher in the Void I guess? Which we then defeat anyway in Midnight and that leads us to fighting the titans and kicking their butts. Or I assume that’s what happens for the most part and Xal becomes an afterthought.

And then after all of that what’s left? Titans beaten, Void beaten, every possible threat that was known beaten or weakened considerably… what in the universe is left?

I guess we’ll find out.

In general, it’s not easy to tell the difference between males and females if you aren’t a member of the species in question. Most animals just don’t have that much sexual dimorphism. Cats for instance, can you tell which is which without examining the relevant area?

Of course it is, all playable races to date have both body types. Moreover, I understand about the hyenas you are talking about, but I think the game is, let’s say, a fantasy, not reality.

You also totally side stepped the reasoning for your assumption about mon-ark.

In fact, I haven’t changed my perception, I found the question in question strange because it would be so obvious to have small differences in the game since all the other races have differences.

Theres no Ebonhorn in 10.2

It’s a Saturday cartoon with a Saturday cartoon villain. Why so serious?

Really by this point all the lore villains that were interesting are dead.

So its okay for him to use his energy to kill this one primalist, send us to oblivion with a shadowflame breath, fly around fighting people in the Emerald Dream, but not spend 5 seconds breaking down a barrier? Yeah okay Im not sympathetic to bs.

They were lovably dumb though, like a stupid dog
And suicidally loyal… like a stupid dog :slightly_frowning_face:

I always get choked up when they kill the dog. That’s why it’s a cheap and easy thing to throw into stories to get an emotional response from most of the audience.

I had to look up their name to remember who we were talking about though, it’s not memorable. It’s the potatoe chip of writing.

Well, you get Cenarius for a little bit and Grandpa tree when you take him for walkies.

I just don’t get why Malfurion couldn’t be the Nelf rep for the big druid patch. Tyrande is so very, very overexposed.

I think spitting shadowflame and killing a dude aren’t as taxing as taking down an incredibly powerful magical barrier.

I think that’s kinda the point. He’s an idiot, he’s not fit to lead, he’s impulsive and he has no real plan beyond general destruction and his own inflated ego telling him he can do anything as well as an insecure desire to make his brother proud.

Meanwhile the real villain, Iridikron, has foiled us at every step, gotten everything he wanted, and in the only direct confrontation we have with him the entire expansion creates a contingency that means he gets what he wants no matter what because we have to leave him be to save nozdormu.

Fyrakk is nothing more than a wind up distraction that Iridikron pumped with void energy and let loose on azeroth. He fits that role perfectly.

a lot of the story team are amateur and activists sadly, they arent the best for the job and werent hired to be.

a lot of the forums are brainwashed culture warriors unfortunately, they aren’t capable of logical thought and aren’t here to express it

edit: it’s cute that you ‘liked’ that lol

Swapped places with Ysera to she could help us on Azeroth.

I believe an opening cinematic shows us Fyrakk using the legendary axe to cut into the Emerald Dream from Azeroth.

Fyrakk is an unstable lunatic with a massive axe and is pumped full of Shadowflame. It’s hinted that he’s far from mentally sound and is far from tactical thinking given said Blood Elf was correct, use the axe and get it over, which pairs with the fact that the primalist Majodormo was the real threat given he was the one directing the army and blocking us off.

It probably could’ve been directed better, but Fyrakk and the Primalists are the villains, they sorta have to be “dumb” in order for the story to proceed, otherwise if he was smart, sound and not a literal idiot, he would’ve dived bombed into our base camp, killed us all and then gone to assault the barrier.

Kinda like with what Blizzard did with the Lich King, he had full capacity of wiping us all out at any point, yet he for a stupid reason, decided to permit his enemy to live at every turn.

Sounds like OP didn’t actually pay attention to anything that happened ever since most of his questions are already answered

Which patch are we on now?

It just felt so cheap and artificial. like a knockoff bootleg version of what they did with Runas.

I can be a big soft baby when it comes to deaths in fiction, but not when you are making what you’re doing that obvious.

First off, no my previous complaints have been about the lack of male headfigures. Every chieftain, general, leader, whatever so far in dragonflight has been female, as if to push the idea that having male leadership is a problem for Blizzard. Furthermore, every supporting male leader has been mostly just an effeminate crybaby, which isnt right or justified.

Second, I have said good things about the game. There are still things I enjoy about it. But the story is one of those things that needs fixing. Like genn greymane just suddenly feeling unqualified to lead the Worgen and instead of giving it to someone with good leadership skills and experience, he gives it to his daughter whose only role in the game was to tell us where to go? Why? It’s just obvious that Blizzard is pushing for an all female World of Warcraft. And I personally dont like that. And it hasn’t made for a good story either.

The bottom line is, if I see this crap again in TWW I will leave and literally just design my own game. Better yet, if I see it on the prologue after i beat amirdrassil awakened I will just leave on the spot and not play TWW, I mean its a likelihood depending on how satisfied i am with the game though.

Wrathion, Sabellian, Ebonhorn, Nozdormu, Kalecgos, Khadgar

Just because you’re emotionally stunted doesn’t mean every male character has to be.
