It didn’t get cancelled, nor was there any retribution in the form of bullying or abusive language levied at people who weren’t into it. It was a limited time event then, as now. I don’t know where you’re getting this misinformation but it seems like you’re inventing post ex facto controversy.

I disagree with that one. I expect a lot of people to parttake in this event. It fills a void that wasn’t there in a lot of years. People want to be a part of world events that aren’t just phased for people. It’s what makes the world a world.
