I’ve been on the ptr as well never been one shot even with a toon that I boosted to 120 transfered over to the ptr which was a priest and didn’t get one shot. Good try champ you complain all you want it wont change and you will stop playing the game. and the game will be better for it.
The fact that people are being so toxic to others that would just like an opt in/out for the event should show blizzard how much of a bad idea it is. So keep on talking about killing “salty” players and making “carebears” cry your negativity only shows blizzard they need to come up with another way of doing this event.
I’m not against the event, but in a world where you may have only a few hours a day to play some people would rather not log in than spend an hour having to avoid stuff in major cities and beyond people are already trying to find ways to infect areas that should be safe.

So what, its not the end of the world, stay out of the main city, and play the rest of the game from somewhere else. Simple answer.
What is so difficult to understand about the phrase “Not everybody wants to join your event”.
If your worried about people opting out and going in the normal gameplay en masse, you should be worried a people logging out or going into their garrisons en mass.
Please be consistent.
Third time you brought it up. What do you mean the world is affected? How?
World building and lore? NPC’s and Players dying? Community reaction? what? Please Specify.
I’ve explained to you why your being inconsistent with your arguments here.
You can’t say “You can’t opt out” while at the same saying “You can log out or go to your garrison” if you said something like" This event must include everybody because it must has the danger value and the world is affected" when it doesn’t even affect garrisons.
So is logging out and staying in your garrison. Your accusing me of not grasping a simple concept, yet your refusing to grasp this simple concept.
No, Garrisons is not “less likely”, it’s “never”. Your argument here is the reason why their can’t be an opt out option because they will avoid the danger, and you don’t want them to have another phase for that. And yet… the garrison has another phase, only for that player who owns that garrison. Yet you don’t seem to have a problem with and turning to button click via toggle/wm as a problem.
You should equally be bothered by that if you were consistent.
And if your not talking about garrisons, i’m sorry, but do you seriously think ghoul players will not notice where the players are all going for a safe spot? Their not a bunch of mindless zombies, some of the players do get crafty with their infections. Even get in Cahoots with one another, something we have seen with alliance and horde in battlegrounds and the bug event in classic (i forgot the name). Heck, why should people trust you (And anybody, even me) on where and which what’s safe, since anybody can become a zombie and might reach those places somehow unless it’s in an instance or different shard?
The inconsistency and conflicts of your arguments.

I’l give you that one, it’s a creative way to destroy the immersion/danger value you want the event to go for. It’s creatively inconsistent to say that saying in a garrison doesn’t defeat the purpose of the invasion but opting out is, even though it’s the same exact thing.
And yet garrisons aren’t and you are okay with them existing for people to go in to wait out the pre-patch, which also defeats the purpose of having danger in your event, because you have said you need people in this event. And you are worried about it being a flop.
Seriously, what is the point of forcing people into the event if they can just go to their garrison or log off?
Then what’s the point of forcing me to be vulnerable to PvP if I can just shard out anyway using the Garrison?

No. I want to show how much of a troll you guys are to prove that we can’t play nice together and they force it into opt in. if that ruins your fun of ruining other people’s fun, then that’s a good thing.

What? War Mode doesn’t work in this event. It works in literally every other World Event but this one.
No, you didn’t “win” the argument that you conducted in bad faith. You can’t convince people that don’t want to PVP at all that they should be forced to do so at your whim.
I’d take you more seriously if you didn’t blatantly ignore my points.
World is affected specifically major cities.
If you go near a city you’re probably going to get affected.
Avoid major cities you’re less likely/won’t be affected.
Even if you move away from cities those cities are still being affected.
If you go to the cities you can be affected.
But go on and ignore my points and try to continue this nonsense “inconsistent” argument.
You’re inconsistent because you’re arguing for War Mode to work differently in THIS World Event when it works FINE in every other World Event.

Just like some Players Never have it on but still enjoy pvp. Except this isn’t pvp this is player vs Zombie not Player vs Player vs Zombie as it is for Warmode Players.

That is the point of the event, to have fun. And griefing is fun, we rarely get to do stuff like this.
A distinction without a difference. And Naxx was PvZ too, yet War Mode worked just fine to keep other players from ganking me.
