I will enjoy the event with fewer players that whine and moan about getting what they want to change an event in such a significant way. The game will be better off with out players like you.

Nothing about the world integrity changes if I participate in the event or I log off for two weeks or however long this thing takes to end.

You know why they are re adding this event?
because people asked for it because how fun it was. It seems more people want it so blizzard is going to keep it as it was.
The integrity changes if you have your own shard where you can stroll through cities unaffected.

I have not PvP’ed since MoP, but I may make exception and enjoy this.

The problem is that people know where the hearthstone and entry level hot spots are all at so they will be guarded by griefing zombies before you could get to these supposed safe places.
Use the tools that already exist to do it. That’s it, end of story. You don’t deserve special treatment just because you refuse to use them.
One of the tools to specifically avoid PvP is broken by this event, so, I mean…
Zombies don’t care if you have warmode on or off that’s the point Zombies are ZOMBIES you aren’t a Victim you are a player experiencing the event of the scourge.
I am helpless against zombies that can one-shot me. Then infect me. Then turn me INTO a zombie.
They can’t one shot you but good try. Also NPC zombies infect you too btw. So yes you are literally asking for the event to be changed for you.
We will continue to argue against forced PVP until they change it.
Uh, yes they can? I’ve been on the PTR dude with a level 50 priest. They one shot.
