It can be fun and since its a timed event and not a permanent feature then it wont ruin the game. You need forced interaction to develop the enjoyment of the limited time event
Why is no one honest that the problem is not the event and the chaos it brings but other players who camp and grieve people?
To compare this to a pandemic it’s like someone who’s infected going specifically to my house and dragging me out of it to fight.
The event is ok, it will not ruin the game in any way or anyone’s enjoyment by itself.
There’s a simple solution that no one likes for some reason (jeez, i wonder why…) and it’s to simply not allow players to freely move their zombified character.
How is it chaos and uncontrollable when players can specifically decide where and how to go?
Just answer me one question. How is it i can infect a player or guard in Lion’s rest but not Greymane or Talia for example?
Two weeks won’t kill you I promise. The game will return to normal after the event.
The event brings chaos to the world. It challenges and disrupts the status quo. That’s a good thing once and a while. Things have been stale and we haven’t had anything fun like this for over a decade. Everyone should be involved if they’re logged in.
or… hear me out… how about we go with my idea. Either way it doesnt matter. These complaints and ideas where spammed when the Wrath pre patch happened. If Blizzard wanted this event not to happen or to have it opt in then they would have. They will tweak it and add in more but as it stands right now it will happen and be forced so have fun on your vacation from WoW
