The Plague Event is Fine, but only if it's Opt-In

One week or two? I’m hoping for two

I’d be interested in seeing how far they take it.

I love how they didn’t respond to you blowing a massive hole in their complaint.

Hanging out in a garrison in WoD is the opt-out. Have fun, OP.

Because it’s completely different. You are playing a themepark game you are lucky you have any agency at all. If you want agency go play a sandbox.

Oh just in case people here didn’t know, there are a bunch of threads on this subject on the PTR forums in the In Development section that are all arguing for it to be opt out. Just in case anyone wants to leave feedback countering that because that section might be where the developers get their ideas from.

I guess the tiger is supposed to get consent from the deer now. Lolololol

Okay I… think you’ve just completely stopped being reasonable at all. I mean if this is your logic, then I take back my apology and say… I hope you never get the option to opt out. So yeah, enjoy skipping.

I didn’t bother responding because ‘Oops Silvermoon’s infested despite a load zone’ kind of ruins theirs.

Also that just means every alt and new character levels through WoD LFD. Cool game.

Also why is it that Blizzard only does something awesome that engages the entire community and makes the game actually feel like an MMO for a couple weeks every OTHER prepatch instead of every prepatch?

Oh yeah. An extremely vocal minority that would rather play a single player game but can’t figure that out won’t stop whining that they can’t buy a battlepet off of the AH. Right.

Much prefer this and the legion prepatch stuff to WoD or BFA’s. Those were hecking boring.

You can’t opt in to be part of an infected population. It doesn’t work that way.

That’s what the ptr is for. To see how it plays out.

I think the goul spawns are too much. So there are areas that just instantly overtake you which I don’t think is the way it’s intended.

Just do your best to give reasonable feedback. Assume it’s not opt-in. What else would you do?

Well, now you’re complaining just to complain. There’s literally a place all the people that don’t want to be involved can hide out for a week, but that’s still not good enough lol

Hey don’t lump me in with those loons against this. This is a completely different level of a thing. Keep in mind the OP here thinks things in battle shouldn’t die but instead be “Defeated” Like some pokemon game.

War Mode is the agency. If it’s not doing its job, then it needs to be fixed.

If I said no to PvP, I meant no to PvP. That means this stupid event too.

I genuinely don’t remember WoD having a cool something for prepatch. WAS there anything going on in WoD prepatch?

Huh? I just cut the dragon’s flippin’ head off. It’s dead.

More silly ideas!

I believe WoD was the time they told us no pre-launch event. Or maybe it was at the dark portal? They tried to get rid of them for a while. MoP’s was a joke too.

You fought orcs.

That was literally it.

If it’s not opt-in, then there’s no way to stop the tide. I can wait this out until they’ve all had their fun, and then play the game normally.

All I wanted to do was be able to play the game, but nope, PvPers gotta ruin everything. Again.

You are too serious, honestly try lightening up a bit. People so uptight isn’t good for your blood pressure. You are ten times more likely to have a heart attack or stroke when you get wound up so tight.
