The Plague Event is Fine, but only if it's Opt-In

That’s what I’m liking about the event. If we all paid attention in Wrath since Sylvanas destroyed the helm, this would be the outcome.

This would work for me just fine.
I plan to have fun with the event but if it gets tiresome I will try garrisoning for a while or just log and do something else.

The OP is welcome to make their case. I don’t agree but I think there have been a few that have taken the disagreement a bit far. That said I don’t condone the OP countering with the same type of language. I know you might think I’m singling you out, Lingxiu, but I felt you had tried earlier to refrain from attacking and simply defended your stance.

Because no ghoul player would notice that normal players are going to Pandaria or Gadgetzan apparently.

This. It’s THIS. Wherever there are players, is going to be the Plague. And apparently it spreads via critters, too? So there’s that fun stuff as well.

Warmode is for pvp enabled at all time.
Non-warmode is for pvp sometimes.
There isn’t a no pvp at all mode.

If this follows Wrath. You can only travel by foot as a ghoul and you aren’t one for too long before you explode.

Last time we didn’t have the luxury of flight either. We were all stuck on the ground and prey for the zombies, because this was pre-old world flight. I recall taking several breaks in outlands to get away. It can get tiresome.

At least with the garrison it’s only for me. If I have to opt out, that’s where i’ll head.

They should just not allow you to go to Outland or Draenor as a ghoul tbh.

Those can be the safe zones.

“I don’t want to play the game normally, so I’ll wait to play the game normally.”

I’m not sure what pvp has to do with anything. You could enable warmode to reduce the server population, but you don’t have to.

What if you lost you be turn into a battle pet for awhile would that count?

I would be fine if this were a reasonable and balanced PvE event, but it’s not, no matter what dressing the PvPers try to douse it in. This is also going to heavily and negatively affect leveling and questing. You either get reduced to LFD in a Garrison, which means you HAVE to level WoD, or you get endlessly ganked and transformed in the world.

I turned PvP off to avoid this nonsense, and yet here we go, getting dragged right into it.

Everyone should be forced in. Everyone should stand near me. Don’t look at my debuffs.

I’m sure you’ll be happy to know that it’s no where near balanced because it’s PTR.

What are you saying?

This may surprise you but my life doesn’t revolve around you or the wow forum.

You’re not FORCED to do anything.

You can ignore the event by avoid major cities. Go do something else. Go pet battle in a remote area of wow. That’s all you can come up with to counter me right?

Im not a PVP’er by any stretch of the imagination but I loved the original Wrath event and can’t wait to play in this one.

It’s supposed to be a zombie apocalypse where no one is safe. I applaud Blizz for doing this again and I hope they don’t have an in game opt out.

Good. Being in the middle of a zombie invasion shouldn’t be safe.

Again I’ll tell you like I told the OP, my life doesn’t revolve around you or the wow forums.

Now on to your very weak point. Oh you could be a legion agent where you could fight a few guards? Again, nothing…NOTHING like the scourge invasion in any way.

What about the players that are infected exactly and they just happen to be near the portals and such, on their way out? One of them being Pandaria and the other being Strangethorn vale? do you not think the ghoul players will take advantage of that? Or get to those places somehow?

Again, not the same since you can pet battle at any time in the current game.

Thats what it was last time, and is the point now.
people want to have access to banks, and the AH, while they stand around
waiting for queues. Some will throw tantrums if their daily routine
is even delayed for ten minutes. Then people wonder why we cant
have fun things take place.
