the event was suppose to go on… so sad blizzard caved in to the masses that want everything to do with wotlk, but not how the events took place that created it all.

With all the shenanigans going on with prepatch, including several event triggers firing early because “lol I dunno”, I just find it hilarious that people are screaming about blizzard “caving” to whiners when it’s far more likely the end of the event is just as bugged as the beginning of it
The irony of the whining is still delicious though

What’s sad is that they cave on this rather than something good. It’s another example of, “we have no idea what to do with this game, let’s just throw darts and hope for the best.”

Wrath was the most popular xpac in terms of subs.
Blizz literally was guaranteed free easy money, but somehow managed to screw up a 10+ year old game

While I get that, Blizzard also has a history of caving to QQers. Heck they even dumbed down Ironforge from an amazing design to a simple freaking circle because of QQers.
