The pet is "classic only" WHY?!

I’m so tired of this garbage.

First of all most classic players could care less about a battlepet as they barely exist in that version of thw game

Secondly, many of us have no desire to play that version of the game.

Blizzard might as well tell me the pet is for Overwatch 2.

IDK maybe i’m just being overly fussy about this stuff but these promotionals keep attaching really cool stuff to a game mode so many of us do not participate in.

heck id pay separately to get the pet on retail

double heck i bought cata classic for the ragnaros mount on retail and i will never touch cata classic

Same! It makes sense why the mount is retail only, but makes 0 sense why the pet can’t go to both classic and retail players - retail is the one with pet-battling, after all. I’d have loved this for my druid!

there are no battlepets in classic. only companion pets.

Agreed. Also, to my knowledge you can’t even use a battle pet in Classic WOW - unless that’s changed?

Nah, that’s plenty true. There are a lot of people that have no interest in playing Classic in any form. There’s nothing wrong with that.
