Will Classic be available on a real/true PVP realm? Or will Classic be infected by the warmode plague?

A lot of people here didnât play Vanilla wow. They donât realize that in the starter zones you arenât flagged for pvp. They also donât realize that there are contested zones that auto flag you for pvp.
The thing is most people donât realize the dedication that actual retail will take, many are used to private server leveling experience and having PvP gear / BGs available on launch while not receiving negative honor for killing lowbies/ NPCs. Many are in for a surprise.
Iâm going to rush to 60 specifically because I have an absurd amount of free time and and even more absurd addiction to Vanilla WoW. But it will really depend how good Classic is.
I basically want to reap the benefits of riding through Azshara and farming 450 Arcane Crystals like I did on Northdale. I sold packages of 100 to the top guilds Horde side before MC was finished so their Warriors got their Lionheart Helms. Thousands of gold that I used to make 3 alts; one for enchanting and goblin engineering, one for alchemy and tailoring, and one for skinning and leatherworking. You only need to be level 35+ for Artisan. Every couple days Iâd transmute arcanes into Arcanite Bars, make cured rugged hides, and Mooncloth. After 3 months of this I had too much gold. Bought a Teebuâs for 3500g or something from a guy posting here on these forums; Nekrage. And sold it Ally-side for 6500. It got worse after that.
Eventually I cornered the market on Sappers and Flasks entirely, and just started buying epic mounts for friends.
I will probably do that again. And gank more. Get to 60 and get more honor than killing lowbies.
Iâve savored the grinds and slow rolls enough. I just like rushing and conquering now.

60 is endgame, whether itâs for raiding for dungeons, or if itâs for PvP at the limit of what is possible. If people think of modern WoW as only having content at max level, because Raids, that is a mentality fostered way back in Vanilla, and you will see that in Classic.
Vanilla WoWâs design cultivated a certain type of player who sees the destination, not the journey.
The âcool kidsâ were raiding, and there are going to be people who want to have a seat at the table. Whether itâs for phat lewts or simply to conquer the next level of challenge, there are going to be those people who have their eyes set on the endgame, rather than the open world of the MMO.
For me, assuming that I play Classic (Most of the things that I enjoyed about my class in Vanilla were patched out by 1.12) Iâll definitely rush to end game. Why? Because Iâve never ever enjoyed leveling. In pretty much any game Iâve ever played. I havenât leveled a character in WoW from level 1 since Wrath.
Every expansion Iâll level every alt from the previous expansionâs highest level to the current expansionâs highest level and get it over with. No interest in leveling allied races for a set of gear. Just really donât like leveling.
To me itâs a completely mindless activity, and it was back in Vanilla as well. Zero thought went into it beyond âThis is what level I am, this is where I need to be.â - Listen to some music and murderize some ogres for a few hours. I was so glad to be done with leveling every time I did it.

The whole purpose of Classic WoW is to afk in IF with your tier on. This means if you want to stand out and get girls, you need to rush to endgame.

A quick google search told me that nightfall was âAdded in patch 1.11.1.28211â. May want to rethink your plan.
So if youâre using WoWhead, all of their items on the Classic Database shows being added in 1.11.1
Thunderfury shows as being add in 1.11.1.28211
As do Bracers of Might.
WoWhead has an issue with when things were added. However on the Thottbot comments. They show people from patch 1.6 commenting on Nightfall.
