I think mostly it’s a result of difference of mentality.
Some come here wanting to change things for the better, some don’t want to see things change ever. Everyone has things they like and it’s so different, no one will hardly ever agree here.
Probably more because you chose to make a thread mocking people who do.
And then got your fee fees hurt when people responded with the same energy.

Probably less than 50 people post here, we’ve all been arguing with each other for so long, actual discourse is out the window in favor of talking points and sound bites.
Thank your god that nobody at blizzard listens to or cares about what’s going on here.

It is actually exactly this. People misconstrue disagreeing with hateful and angry. I disagree with tons of people. Heck my wife and I disagree constantly on tons of things and I certainly don’t hate her. I love her above everyone. Sometimes though, man she’s just wrong and we gonna talk about it.

Utopia is not of this earth. Pluck em like weeds. Own your experience not try to will it on others and you will be free of trolls, polyannies, and be much more at peace. The drama here by some is the same in other forums and I’d imagine would be the same if it were 2000BC.

As far as herne and him bringing the Russia comment into this thread. That’s just how that gang works. They are all in discord together.

One of the biggest things I dislike in here is the arguing. It can be fun and constructive, but sometimes people take it way too seriously and they either use pointless attacks/snarky comments or they desperately want their argument W at all cost (one of the worst examples is going through an entire posting history or the armory just to look for arguments, that’s just sad). It’s not that serious, it’s a damn video game. Hell, even the more off topic discussions, it starts off well then it dissolves into a freaking mess.
I’m also glad we don’t have downvotes around here.

It’s calmed down lately. Last summer was the worst it’s been in years. Not near as bad as the cesspit it was a dozen or so years ago. It seems to be just how gaming forums are unfortunately. I’ve never found one that wasn’t full of angst and bitterness.
Doesn’t mean there aren’t some awesome people here. You just have to deal with them and ignore the rest.
