Perhaps give us the tool that automates that process, so that we can actually go out and interact with the world, chat with friends, or have fun while we wait for a group.

People have been forming groups in classic for over 3 years now just fine without any issues.
The lfg cult and people like you just love to invent and imagine all these fictional “woe is me without lfg”, “the world is ending without lfg” scenarios and exaggerate things to push a certain narrative in an attempt at getting what you want.
I’ve never had a problem farming/questing/playing the game and finding a group.
You people that think the only way to find a group is to “afk in a city and spam trade chat”, do you even play the game lmao?
No one has ever had to “spam trade chat for hours” to find a group, anytime I hear some idiot talk about how they don’t want to have to “spam trade chat” for a group, you just know it’s some idiot wrath baby who hasn’t even played classic making up arguments based off faulty memories and assumptions about how the game works.

the non auto refresh was an interesting call. Not sure how that made it off the whiteboard. this to me if planned later you’d want day 1 of testing.
as that client server pull you want tweaked sooner…not later. 1000 beta testers…server bogs down at first. optimize that while smaller numbers.
20,000 users across many servers? that’s you ddos’ing yourself not fully optmized lol.
It usually goes something like this:
- Join LFG
- Try to quest or do stuff while watching LFG
- Get distracted for a few moments navigating or not dying
- See a LFM post from 30 seconds ago
- Whisper the person advertising their group
- Stand around waiting for a response for 3 minutes
- Whisper again
- Stand around for 2 more minutes
- Get told “filled sorry”
- Multitask for a few more minutes
- Get up to pee
- Repeat steps 4-10
- Answer a text message
- Repeat steps 4-10
- Repeat steps 3-10 a few more times
- Give up, hearth, and stand in Shatt looking for a group
Real fun. Definitely better than RDF, which apparently does something bad that nobody seems to be able to describe.
Yeah, that new LFG interface panel isn’t actually any better than the existing interface panel that I’ve been using. I guess it’s nice that it’s made by Blizzard, so I don’t have to install an addon to use it. But it suffers from the same problem of requiring me to stare at it and refresh or risk missing the group.

yeah boosting was never mainstream just a small subset of the community the forum bullies got banned because blizzard REALLY cares about the game’s socialization.
Indeed everyone’s groups only needs to take at most 5 minutes to form because tanks are plentiful and willing to do content that doesn’t benefit them out of the kindness of their hearts.
everyone claiming that they spend more time trying to form dungeons groups than actually running the dungeons are in fact all liars, no one ever on any server ever in the history of the game ever had to ask in chat more than once for a group.

I don’t think I’ve seen a single argument in opposition to RDF that isn’t:
- The grouping problem you’ve described doesn’t actually exist so stop asking for authentic WotLK features
- The bustling open world will suddenly be empty if RDF is added
- The healthy social scene that results from players whispering “inv” and being ignored will be destroyed if RDF is added
- But I hate casuals
We have mountains of evidence that none of this is accurate (except maybe the last point) , but people keep finding ever more creative ways to mask the same exact argument.

and the flying 70’s “afk” in shattrath.
I wondered where everyone was if not on the daily 3 towers quest. I wasn’t seeing armies of people 61 to 64.
Cleared the marsh and on to shattrath region.

LFG hit found off they fly.

Cool story? Plenty of people have. We have several thousand posts in other threads of players citing this exact issue. I’d recommend going and reading some of them.

Point is you’ll be fine, you can still do everything in the game without LFG, if you can’t manage to play this game without a tool doing everything for you, the problem is YOU, not the game.
If 99% of players are having no problem finding/making groups and playing the game just fine, and you are the 1% of people who can’t make it work, again, the problem here is you.
The anecdotal “evidence” provided by people who don’t even play the game and just make up narratives and exaggerated stories to push an agenda don’t interest me.
You have several thousand wrath babies who didn’t play classic who are crying on forums because they aren’t getting what they want and using false memories and faulty logic and made up narratives to do everything possible to get what they want, there is no truth in their words.
This is why I mentioned the amount of morons here who think in classic players are currently “spamming trade chat in a city to find groups”, the people who think this is what happens in classic literally don’t even play the game and are assuming everything, why should I give a crap about the opinion who didn’t even play classic?
I was talking in general, it’s something I’ve noticed, the wrath babies don’t even play classic, but they have very strong opinions and think they know exactly how the game currently operates despite never playing it.

Right… You have your experience, other players have theirs. The fact that you haven’t experienced something doesn’t mean that other players haven’t. The fact that you haven’t witnessed something doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. You can choose to discount other players’ experiences, but it doesn’t help your case.
You’re sure assuming a lot about other players here. For the record, I have no opinion about who you should or shouldn’t take advice from. And I honestly don’t believe anybody here is trying to advise you of anything, unless you are Blizzard.

Majority of people simply DO NOT CARE, they are to busy playing the game and having fun.
You know who visits forums etc to complain about the game and cry about things they want changed or added to the game? THE MINORITY OF ANGRY DISGRUNTLED PLAYERS (who will and always will forever be unhappy with the game no matter what).
The people on forums ARE THE MINORITY of players, they are idiots, they ruin everything for the people who are currently logged into the game having fun without a care in the world, who think things are working just fine the way they are
Forums should be nuked or completely disregarded, do you think the people posting here are happy passionate fans who want the best for the game?
No, they are all selfish, self serving, low life scum, who will say and do anything to push their agenda and further their own narrative to get what they want.

Again, if everyone else isn’t having a problem, and it’s only you having the “problem”, then you problem is, always was, and always will be, you.
No tool will fix “you”.
If you can’t figure out how to get a dungeon group going in classic, you don’t need a tool, you need a new mindset, you need to change or find a new approach to playing the game.
If you think grouping up should be simple and all you should have to do is “push a button for my dungeon”, the game is simply not for you.
Weird thing is, how all the pro-lfg cult seems to LOVE lfg and qol features, but for some reason they HATE playing retail, if qol is all you want, why aren’t you people playing the version of the game with it.
Seriously, I have spoke to many pro-lfg players, and they all say the same thing everytime
“hurr durr I don’t care, I just want to be able to come home from work have a beer and do a dungeon”.
Which absolutely blows my mind because the game you people REALLY want is retail, but for some reason you old classic boomers have it in your head that “Retail = le bad!!” “classic = le good!”.
So many of you classic wow forum posters just need to realise THIS GAME WAS NOT MADE FOR YOU, stop trying to fit a square into a circle, you’re a retail player, just go play retail spam the hell out of LFG and LFR and shut the hell up.
