Gear disparity…it would be so much better if this wasnt an issue in arena

I agree with that. The difference between top geared people (220+) and the average equipped people (<200) is too big, as this is already 30% damage or something and also the same amount of defense!

Just roll fotm. No amount of gear disparity would change the burst.

some of my friends would probably start playing the game again as well…giving us baseline gear while in arena might help some balance issues as well
Nope. I am 214 ilvl. Sure I may get lucky once in a while killing someone with the hunt but with how many stops are available to it and that we hit like a wet noodle outside of that burst…the spec sucks. No amount of gear will make it beat certain fotm. Especially wws.
Ok, it is POSSIBLE we can kill a ww if they forgot they had disarm and sweep kick while using fist of fury with their back turned to me.
8.3 visions got a lot of crap last patch but they helped me gear my priest to well within heroic raid ilvl range. It feels like if you don’t raid this expansion your ilvl climb is slower than ever.
Being geared on an underperforming spec that you are good at is always better than being undergeared on an FOTM. Any spec can climb ranks right now (although obviously there are outliers).
If you’re 214 ilvl and your wins rely on getting lucky with the hunt, spec isn’t the problem.
i dont have alot of time to play and i dont like pve at all…wish blizzard would just make a pvp only version of this game where gear imbalance didnt exist…arent all players given the same gear in the AWC?
Well, the class feels a LOT like bfa warrior without the peel utility. We don’t have slows to peel. We have an imprison to stop goes and for setup. We also have darkness BUT it is an incredibly weak defensive as it is tied to rng.
You either need a ridiculous fotm teammate to win or play to your strongpoint: the hunt.

Well, the idea that gear will carry you to victory is what I am opposed to. I have checked top 100 3s and there are quite a few people who have pieces that are 184 ilvl. You just need 190 ilvl and decent teammates to push. Especially as rmx, melee cleave and fotm teams. It’s all about setup and reacting properly to goes.
Sure ilvl helps but it definitely does not cause as much disparity as fotm classes.
i wasnt saying gear is the only reason people win…i just wish gear disparity wasnt so much of an issue
Gwen: DH’s need buffs, but I think we’re all fine, with a slight break from DH’s at the moment… you’ll get your former glory that you had since inception. We’re just taking a quick little break from the demons until Illidan buffs you again.

Or you move on to the 1500 bracket and try to deliver your burst with a stun on the target. Just as a thought.
