I won’t disagree, but we didn’t get that vendor until the expansion was over lol
Eh. I wasn’t thrilled with having to continually level up legendaries. In fact, there was a lot about the system that I disliked. But I’ll agree that the vendor at least made it slightly more tolerable.
I wouldn’t call it a failure. Clunky, yes, but not a failure.
In fairness, that is also not true. At all.
Because I am sure the devs are already aware of specific issues, I am sure the devs are well aware they need to keep a watch on Bias. And honestly, most of the Alliance posts crying about Horde Bias are an absolute joke, where they are purposely ignoring things to push an agenda.
I don’t feel every single piece feedback needs to be relayed to devs. We have a current thread right now about how its horrible that CMs don’t have a proper avatar for the forums, and how its a dev conspiracy. Do you feel this needs to be relayed to the devs?
I don’t know how you can say they are being anywhere close to ignored when there are what…7 or 8+ blue posts on the issue. I get it. The portals being changed/going away/etc sucks. I don’t like it. It seems silly. Among other adjectives.
Whenever someone brings up class rotations I giggle.
Class rotations were never overly complex over all. This is just some piece of propaganda being pushed at this point that expects people to not remember how things actually were.
Can’t wait to see all those complex rotations for all the classes coming when the Classic Server launches.
Right. They’re about to revamp the entire Azerite Armor system based on feedback, but our feedback is meaningless.
The problem with this line of thinking is it applies equal weight to all opinions. And that’s just flatly wrong. The same logic applies here that applied to Masterloot or Flying. If you don’t like Flying, you can always choose not to fly. If you didn’t like Masterloot, don’t use it, or join groups that do. If you don’t like these portals, then don’t use them.
When your opinion changes from, i don’t want these things, to NOONE ELSE should have these things, then your opinion stops being opinion and starts being pushy nonsense.
Pretty much. Whenever they have a plan, they have almost no intentions of changing it to make players happy. Regardless of if we enjoy it or not.
Most of the major changes I’ve seen lately weren’t asked for or even mentioned by players, and have been met with resistance. The actually good suggestions (i.e. “Don’t remove the portal, just relocate it”) are replied to with long winded “We read it, we don’t care, we’re moving forward” posts.
GCD, gated flight, excessive RNG rewards, things that no one asked for and a lot of people had good ideas on how to improve are just examples of the devs wanting what they want, and too bad if we don’t like it. They seem to be going out of their way to chase players off. I haven’t felt like the players were listened to in a very long time.
The only type of feedback they’ve “listened” was the massive unsub due no-flying fiasco at WoD.
Then … the huge issue with invasion leveling on prepatch 7.0.
What do you even mean they ignored the 2 threads. One of those 2 was created by a CM…
Just an FYI, because it seems a lot of people still don’t realize this…
EVERYONE CAN POST LINKS REGARDLESS OF TRUST LEVEL
All you have to do is highlight the link and click the </> button on the post UI next to the quotes button. While the link won’t be clickable it will be posted and easily highlightable for copy/paste into a browser.
and yet there has been no blue activity on it since it was created despite almost 3k replies on the post alone.
What do you expect them to say?
Anyone else read the portal complaint threads and replace “Blizzard” with Ion while reading them? Or is it just me ?
Yes, you are right. If only they could release the game in some form to a large audience, where they could test things out and collect feedback on various things. You know, something that would even be open to the PUBLIC, where they could run TESTS, if only such a REALM existed . . .
Oh well, I’ll go play some of my steam games that are currently in BETA where people can provide feedback over the course of months . . . shame WoW doesn’t have something like that eh?
THANK YOU. I was trying to share Ghostcrawler’s blog earlier and it was driving me insane.
Happy to help!
What the heck is this trust system anyway, like, where can I go to read all the new forum’s arbitrary rules about likes and links and trust, and how do I put people on ignore?!
It is both a shame and shameful that the paying customer has now become the enemy to be subdued and marginalized.
With every bit of feedback I get from the company I come to understand more and more that I am nothing more than an impediment to some metric or another.
What with my insistence on such arcane notions as flying and exploring and having fun rather than toiling, plodding around the same hill for the fiftieth time and getting my dev assigned chores done, I am just a stubborn bit of AI to be stamped out through increasingly arbitrary and ruthless decreases in quality of life.
In the last missive we read how they really should have moved to strand and isolate the Mists regions and they are taking steps to fix that now.
I think they hear the feedback just fine though. I think they just need to find a way to make it clear that they are the bosses and you are the peon getting your gathering orders.
Forced to put flying back for fear of withering criticism and projected instability? Well pathfinder will show them. Players want housing they can decorate and use to show off their individual styles? They won’t quit posting about it? Well garrisons should fix that right up.
Blizzard, you are supposed to be better than this. You are supposed to know what you are doing.
What happened?
